All, Rory will be doing his bike ride for the Donna Louise Children's Hospice very soon (17th. to 19th. June). What do you think about getting 20 pledges of £10 each to have this logo
on his and his team's cycling shirts. It would be great to see the messageboard on Sky Sports News. I have put a bit more detail in the pinned Delap Bike Ride Donate link at the top of the board. I will kick it off with a tenner, so just 19 to go. All the cash will go directly to the Donna Louise Trust. Please PM me with your pledge.
Only counts as from the start of this post I'm afraid!
Keep going at this rate and we will have the money raised by Saturday. 16 to go now. If you can't afford a tenner get 4 mates and all put £2 in.
Alternatively hold your own sponsored bike ride (could be in the gym or have a team do it at work) and raise some cash for the charity that way. Every penny counts towards keeing this fantastic facility open 7 days a week.
Danny Higginbotham has sponsored Rory to the tune of £150. His message says "all the best our kid its for a great cause hope the lugs dont slow you down " ;D Dicko has also donated a ton!
Still £160 to go to get the messageboard logo on the shirt
Jim, I have full confirmation from Mel at the Donna Louise that we can do this. We need to have the pledges in by next Friday for it to be a success. It looks like we have paused at 4 pledges, one fifth of the way towards the target. Come on Oatcakers - Let's add this to the successes that "The Power Of The Oatcake" has achieved.
scfcrob, Sorry I don't know how to do a PM, but if you tell me on here how to do it, I'll do a £10 contribution willingly.
If you click on scfcrob's name, you will see an option to 'send personal message' - either that or click on the printer like icon under his name on this page - if you hover over it, it will say 'send pm'
Northstokie, Thanks for the info, I have now pledged, which means with colourboy's and mine only 7 more required. Come on Guys,it's for a real deserving cause. Scfcrob deserves our full support. Publicity for the oatcake and two hundred notes for Donna Louise, it's a win win. Well done Rob for kicking it off.
