no need.
Would look small time.
Why risk any potential penalty and spoil the chance for the players, officials, etc to do the lap of honour and get the applause from the fans they deserve.

No chance there had better not be. What the hell for?
Give the players a fantastic reception like we did today after the game yes but no pitch invasions
It would just make us look like we dont expect to be in the premier league.

i think a pitch invasion is a no no, we should just go mental in the stands and let all the players run round the pitch and go riot and we stand there and clap and cheer them all the way!!

No pitch invasion. Pitch invasions for avoiding relegation are for small-time nobodies. What the hell would the point be?
If we ever win a cup, though, I'd love to see us invade the Wembley pitch.

we wudnt get a point deduction if the final whistle had gone Why spoil it for the majority, the pitch invasion last season was a result of 23 years outside the top flight. Staying in for one season doesn't need everyone to get on the pitch. Like I say it could potential spoil a lot of the credit we have been given this season.

a pitch invasion is for winning something...promotion, a championship, a cup.
Not for merely avoiding relegation.

Abdy, Beats, Soro, Ethers and all those who signed for us when we needed them most (also including the existing squad) deserve to have our 'survival' guarantee game as a moumental tribute. We shouldn't spoil it for them

Agree that we should stay put and give disabled supporters and the players' kids the chance to enjoy the celebrations, so that everyone has the opportunity to thank the lads or show off with Daddy.
We have a good record of end of season non-invasions, (with one exception) at the Brit. Let's keep that up. I hate to see the players running for their lives. So much better to unselfishly enjoy the day and let others do the same.

pitch invasion ? ----- hope not
if our resident thick bastards can think this one through - the team might even do a lap of honour if they stay off the bloody pitch !

Can't the players do a lap of honour, then when they go off, let the fans out by letting some on the pitch and out by the Ambulance corner?

As I've posted earlier in this thread, I think a pitch invasion for avoiding relegation is small-time and rubbish (although I'd be tempted if I were a West Brom fan in their great escape year) but I didn't see any players 'running for their lives'. I remember Simonsen sprinting into the fans, Dickinson doing his legendary stance in front of the oncoming storm, Fuller getting carried by the crowd, similar treatment for Lawrence and Delap and so on. The players seemed to be absolutely loving it, not running for their lives.

The players didn't run for their lives as MD says, Pulis did his jog to the tunnel, but he does that after every game.

If we lose every single game up untill then, and every team below us wins every game and it looks like we may go down, and maybe snatch a late winner then yeah pitch invasion, ATM its an absolutley stupid idea as we'll be safe with games to spare at this point.

If a team like Manchester City did it we would think they are idiots, and we are above them at the moment (feels good typing that!) so no, no pitch invasion

No pitch invasion.
Although last year was merited deffo, was unable to salute my Hero's.
Couldnt make it to the Official open top bus/Homecoming at the Brit, as Living in Hull, circumstances would'nt allow!
Would be nice this year if everyone could get the chance to see our hero's and send them off into the summer with the sight of all us Stokies going wild in the stands. Make them realise what they have done for us this season!!
