2009 marks my 36th year following Stoke City Football Club and in that time there has been some great (and not so great ) moments, but I know for absolutely certain, that one of the most abiding memories I will take to take to my grave of my beloved club will be that sprint from Abdoulaye Faye on the 18th April 2009. Although he has been here less than a year, the man is already ... A TRUE LEGEND! Couldn't have put it better myself Paul. My formative years supporting Stoke were watching Jimmy Greenhoff, Alan Hudson, Denis Smith and John Ritchie, and Abdoulaye Faye is right up there with them. I really can't think of a better tribute to the man than to be compared wth those four players. His lap of honour today will go down in Stoke City folklore.

Doesn't look as though any of the media have caught it, but it was fantastic. Great display from Abdoulaye, and you can see how much it means to him! So glad he loves us!

It made me so proud to see him do that. We have nothing close to the most technically gifted squad in the league, but the passion and togetherness of our players is a huge part of the reason we are where we are.
