Just need Owen and Martins to have a minor road accident now. Nothing serious, just a bit of whiplash to put them out for Satdees game. H

Talk to Magpies fans and they'll tell you that the fuzzy one has been good all season even though he was shi*e last week.

Didn't Fuller walk around him at their place though
I think they could struggle with the throws and corners without Taylor

Lovenkrands was stretchered off at SJP complete with Oxygen mask et al So I doubt He'll be back anytime soon
Bassong, Taylor and Barton are to have fitness tests apparently. The Latter had a good long conversation with Shearer at the end of the open training session and some reckon this will be return game, and god how we need him back.
Bassong has been our palyer of the season so far, he's been absolutely fantastic and If he carries on the way he's been going It wont be too long before one of the big 4 come calling, and seeing as he's young and French my bets on Mr Wenger.
Taylor wont be a big miss, he's been a liability for most of the season and our worst defender, he's constantly making gaffes and errors most of which are basic defending. The lads constantly shouting off in the press about how we need to do this and that. He can talk the talk but very rarely walks the walk. Mind havingsaid that he did have a very good game against Arsenal.
As for Collocini, he's been up and down this year. At times he's looked very good however at others he's looked awful. Sometimes he looks too flat footed and gets caught on the break. He looks suspect in the air at times as well which could cause us big problems against teams that play like you lot do.

Collocini hasn't been that bad, from what I've seen of him. Howler last week though. Steven Taylor's hugely overrated IMO. John Terry wannabee.

i would fucking love it if it was bartons first game back, he would ignite the stoke crowd with hatred and that is exactly what we need. think he would get ronaldo like treatment was he to turn up at stoke.

We are talking stephen taylor and not ryan taylor here? Not to concerned about Barton really, had the one immense season for city but i don't think i've ever seen him have a blinder for newcastle, and of course he never gets a run of games through injury/dickheadedness.
Just martins owen and duff to worry about really.

According to the Toon fans Duff has been woeful this season, runs around shouting at other players with no end product from himself.

You've got bugger all to worry about with Duff. He's another over paid shite mercenary. He's like a Jack Russel chasing after his tail is Duff, jsut runs around in cricles until someone comes in and he bottles the challenge.
We could really do with Barton back. Butt's been poor this season and Nolan, well he just looks like a fatter version of Butt. Guthries impressed when plays and Him and Barton are definatly our strongest centre midfield combination.
And yes we are talking about Steven Taylor. He's fucking awful. Mind Ryans not looked great since his arrival either.

My daughter's going to be absolutely gutted Lovenkrands is out, she's been looking forward to seeing him since he signed in January. She's got a picture of him and her on her bedroom wall, i'll have to break the news gently to her lol
I'm glad he's not playing I got visions of him scoring against us.

I wanted us to get Lovenkrands. Even though I rate Etherington, Lovenkrands can also play as a striker as well as a left winger and would be an excellent addition to the squad for a few years. And he is married to a Scots girl so I'd imagine he is happy to be back in the UK for family reasons. He has a semi Scots accent as well. I'm glad he is out for Saturday's game. Perhaps we can get him when Newcastle get relegated!

I'm surprised at people rating Stephen Taylor. I've always thought he was gash, and don't think it's any coincidence that he's been at the heart of their defence over the last few seasons when they've had so many defensive problems!
