teenage dad's access night? presumably it was after a trip to Maccy D's and then onto his "Auntie" Sharon who let the other girls look after him while his dad nipped up to her room for a 25 min £25 knee trembler? Ah, those classy classy Mancs!!
So i have to weigh up how old she'll be until she enjoys it? Best leave it a few decades then ;D
No, in all seriousness i agree with most on here, to take a little kid along is despicable. I reckon my little girl (who'll be 5 next season) is just about ok, i was that age when i started going to The Vic and i turned out ok...actually, on second thoughts

can't see the problem tbh i saw it and it didnt look like it was in a lively area of the ground, for example, the middle of the boothen end at the brit. cant see the problem, if the baby was bothered it wouldn't of been sleeping. The baby was asleep because it should have been at home in bed. It is selfishness, pure & simple. It was obviously teenage dad's access night, and rather than stay in and watch it on telly, he dragged the poor mite to the game. It's the same as these selfish twat's you see in a pub all afternoon with a kiddie in a pushchair, usually ignored & subdued with a dummy/bottle/packet of crisps. As for what age is acceptable, it depends on the child & parents - you will know when your kid is likely to actually sit there and enjoy the game/atmosphere/etc. If not, leave them at home. Ahhh, think about it, maybe this teenage dad isnt as daft as you think maybe the baby's mother is an awkward peice of work and thought she could get one over on him by giving him the kid on matchday trying to ruin his matchday experience with the boys, maybe just maybe he knew that if he took it along to the game it was bound to be on T.V. and when the mother saw it she'd go up the wall and think twice about stitching him up on matchday again

Did anyone see that responsible 'Manc' holding a sleeping baby during the Man Ure game last night? My missus couldnt believe that someone would be that f**king stupid as to take a young baby to a football match. However, I replied that sadly I could. Im pretty sure that the same guy(and child) was shown at the Villa game as well on sunday.

Purely stupid thing to do by a parent, the young un wouldn't have been put to bed until at least 4.00 am,due to the fact it's probably a five hour drive from Manchester to London.

Absolute rubbish..... I took my daughter to her first match last year when she was only a few months old. She loved it so much so she started shouting at the wolves fans when they were singing..... i need to indoctrine her as much as possible

Talkshite had the alleed mother phone in and assuming it wasnt some sort of wind up (her name was VICKY) she didnt inspire with confidence as she thought there was no risk of damage to the little uns hearing at a match. It was clear she had never considered it at all. A specialist came on a short time later and basically said there was a very real chance if the baby's ears weren't being protected in some way.

I think once they're in Primary school it's ok to start going. Otherwise they'll be bored and just end up annoying those around them.

Can anyone remember the QPR v Stoke game last season on Sky. At half time the cameras went round the ground and one of the two ladies who are always on coach 1 was standing their with a newborn baby. Can't have been older than 3 or 4 weeks. The ball then whacked the women holding the baby. The presenter was talking and then pointed out what had happenned saying how close to disaster that was.

Children under the age of 2 should be banned from football matches. Imagine if that ball had hit the baby full on? Jesus, it doesnt bear thinking about On a lighter note I will let my daughter support Stoke or Taunton Town when shes older but she wont be going to a match yet. Maybe because the wife would have me balls on a platter
