Because of all the navy in the flag?

I'm actually glad that they've done away with the navy shorts. Show me the navy in the St. George's flag and I'll tell you why we should have navy shorts. Always like seeing England in all white.

There's no blue in the St George's Cross. They should stick to white shorts in the future.

Retro with a capital "R". At times it actually looks like polo shirt. Nice, but £50? no way
What will the tracksuits be like? Really tight-fitting 70's style made from Polyester and ENGLAND on the back in block caps? ;D

Looks crap and cheap. Buy yourself a white polo shirt from Matalan and stick an England badge on it. No one will know the difference . BTW I think the blue shorts stem from it being one of the colours of the English FA, as reflected in the Three Lions Badge - nowt to do with the national flag. Plus, remember that in the 1880s, the Union Flag WAS England, in the Anglocentric way of assessing national identity in those days. The Cross of St.Geroge is a relatively new resurgence - you never used to see them until the 1990s (unless they were adorning a skinhead).

Saw it when they played yesterday, not too sure of it at the mo. It just doesnt look like a football shirt I think this is where the FA are on to a winner myself. I for one, being an old fart now probably in some peoples eyes, have not bought a England top, or Stoke top for that matter, for year's. Reason being I think over a certain age a bloke looks a little silly in a replica shirt, don't ask me why just my opinion. Once I began to mature I moved from replica shirts to casual wear from the club shop. T shirts polo shirts that kind of thing, and I think this new England top fits the bill as it is plain and will go easily with jeans and look smart on anyone, so for the first time in years I will probably buy it (Birthday/Fathers Day coming up kids ) For me. A winner

It's the best England shirt since the '82 one. A pure retro top, which I love. Plain. Simple. Classy.
All the rest look like Liverpool cast-offs, which is great if you like the Chavvy look. Which I don't.
I'll be getting one.

Looks very smart .... but it's more of a top tht the players would be wearin when goin to training rather than a top for a match. I would buy it but certainly not for 40-50 quid!

My main worry would be if that badge is printed on. My mrs goes a bit mad with the iron at times. Iron it yourself then
