Its fucking brilliant.
The graphics are yaw dropping and got it linked up to the surround sound and its fucking epic. The opening sequence puts a chill down me spine with full 5.1.
The controls, I suggest anyone familiar with C.O.D change them to "Alternative 2", turn off zoom locking and bump up the sensetivity.
The Helghast are fucking brilliant as A.I's go, the most intelligent I've played against.
Online looks to be great fun, only played for about 10 minutes last night but it looks great fun, loads of different games apparently with 32 players at one time.
This is the new standard for ffs I believe and I strongly suggest anyone with a PS3 to get it.

I do mate, I really enjoy playing WaW, its easy to pick up, pop people off and its enjoyable.
Killzone 2 is on another level mate. And Modern warefare 2 is coming out later this year if you want a call of duty game.
Killzone 2 is more challenging and makes you more tactically aware, bottom line is mate its bloody brilliant.

Just played the demo now, looks good, decent combat system and pretty gritty action. Got a rubbish gun in the first level, seem to hammer people for ages with no effect. Looks like some meaty guns in the later stages from the cut scene at the end of the demo.

That gun is pretty much your standard spud gun and it does take some precise shooting to get your targets, I think its quite a short range gun tbh.

Not much for the campaign, gets a bit boring although the atmosphere and everythin shows off the graphics.
Gameplay shines in multiplayer, up there with CoD4

Lew, since my original post when I bought it, i've played it a total of 3 times!!! Admittedly I need to give it more time, and I most definitely will, but first impressions didn't blow me over like it did for you. The graphics are good, but better than anything else? The Helghast are amazing, but better than the AI enemies in MGS4? The campaign seemed okay, and I had a quick go on multiplayer which was just berserk, not knowing what to do etc. But the fact that it hasnt got 2, 3 or 4 player splitscreen totally deflates it for me. I like playing these types of games with quite a few people round so I think Killzone 2 has lost a lot of audience by not adding it. That said, at least PS3 has another high brow title to its collection.

It doesnt do anything new mate no, alot of games dont these days, but I think its a new benchmark for fps'.
I would say they are better than MSG4, although it does well in simulating real soilders, I think they are abit too routine and dont show as much initive as the helghast, such as ducking and moving to a different spot when shot at. Said that, Mgs4 is hard as brass bollocks on the harder settings.
The time they spent on it, I think they really should of incorporated co-op into the story as for the length, your with a partner.
Think my initial thoughts we're just impressed with suround sound and the genuine feel of taking a war to the enemy (as ive said feels more like a war than say halo 2&3, gears) and it does it well.
