Top 5
5th Meite at West Brom, looks like a black Benny Hill 4th Carson, not the best defence to protect him, but still 3rd Halmosi has been truly awful, massive disappointment 2nd Sidibe, ok if you stick it on his nut, but can't pass water 1st Valero at West Brom (considering his price tag), what did Mowbray see in him?

Top 5 in no particular order
Kim (West Brom) - waste of space Gomes (Spurs) - needs no explanation Basinas (Pompey) - did nothing apart from commit niggly fouls Geovanni (Hull) - anonymous Diouf (Sunderland) - did he even touch the ball?

Downing was shite for Boro and is the most over-rated player in English football. If he wasnt left-footed he would be playing in the champ

Whithead had a shit game for Sunderland. Was so wank he made Olifinjana look good, completely lost Ricky for the goal and then mouthed off in the press after the game about how they would finish above us.
Lucky escape not buying that turd.

Gomez was hilarious, he single handedly tried to maim his own defenders.

In terms of the price tag and the amount of goals he's scored for Fulham, I think Andy Johnson's got to be up there somewhere. Like many English players, he's vastly over-rated!!

Mcshane for me aswell, can't believe he's only been mentioned twice. PS Sutton are you having a laugh? He's not just a fucking "put it on his bonce" player, obviously you didn't see his goal away at Newcastle, or his one on one last season against Bristol City.

Geovanni! What a clown I'm not trying to wind anyone up. I was just saying he is one of the poorest players i've seen at the Brit. He's had a pretty good season, but even you can't deny that he was very poor at our place and if i remember rightly, it wasn't too long after his Arsenal and Spurs masterpieces, so I was expecting a bit more.

hes just not a football player i love the lad to bits for whats he done for us but he has to be one of the least gifted in the side.FACT You know absolutley nothing, watch chelsea away not only did he score a mint goal from a quality beattie through ball but he also played his bollocks off throughout and made about 6 WORLD CLASS challenges preventing them from scoring

I was very disappointed with Ronaldo at both the Brit and the Theme Park. If this was a case of a player who most disappointed, it would have to be him. Did you not see that free kick at OT, I had the priviledge of being in with the Utd fans and although it hurt to see Stoke concede I couldn't help but admire the quality of the goal

On the flanks, I'd agree, in the middle, where he should be played but isn't, I honestly can't think of a better option. Two centre mids needed in the summer.

He's one of the most awkward looking players I've ever seen. He reminds me of Leo Fortune-West, he simply doesn't look like a footballer. He is devoid of skill, and is there for one reason, to cause panic in the box. There isn't a single club in the prem who would have him in their 1st team, because he is designed purely for Stoke. He can cause mayhem, but not in a good way, his scoring record season after season is appalling. Nothing anyone on here can say will convince me that he is anything but a terrible player

Nothing anyone on here can say will convince me that he is anything but a terrible player A "terrible player" wouldn't be that effective, surely? He is capable of a fair bit of skill and on occasion a good touch (something he doesn't get credit for on here). He isn't played to score goals, in the same way that Heskey isn't, Kenwyne Jones isn't, Kevin Davies isn't (although he's having an unusually prolific season this year) etc. He's the foil for a pacy, smaller striker, and he creates space for his strike partner to flourish in whilst shielding the defence with his hold up play. He's not Juninho or anything, but he's suited our purposes tremendouslyover the last few years. Now we have Beattie and at least one genuine winger, he probably needs to be phased out a little bit, but he's done an excellent job for us.
