I have to agree with the fact that your manager has been a liability not only in the dressing room but on the field. I'm not sure he has the respect of the players and he constantly drabs on about quality. If we tried to play the (Mowbray) way, we would probably be bottom, Tony had a plan to spend money on players that would suit a certain system to battle the way through the season and at times play good football. These players would bleed for our club and that's why we could stay up. Playing carpet football against established Prem sides with a low budget was a disaster waiting to happen...We did say though Exactly. I think we are favorites for the game based on the fact that I struggle to think of any west brom player that would be a certain starter in our side, koren maybe the only one

Going back to your original post wba, I don't really see it as a derby, geographically speaking it's a local derby of course but that's about it.
I've always had a lot of time for West Brom down the years, we're a very similar sized club, both been in the doldrums and it helps that we tend to beat you quite a lot!!
Things changed for me last year though after our game at the Hawthorns, I've always been entertained by the Albion's moral victory theory that went back to the early 90's, but it never really went beyond the mildly amusing. However, last years hysterically camp whining from many of your fans and local media sadly changed my opinion of your club and to be honest it will take some serious back tracking to alter my views now.
I don't dislike West Brom but if we stay up and you go down I would say that some people connected to the Baggies deserve what's coming to them for their snobbery and bitter comments towards our club.

It was clear to most people before the season even began that you would never survive, with Mowbray determined to stick to his "footballing" principles. To try and take on established Premier League team's at their own game, against some of the best players on the planet, was a fucking ludicrous strategy, and in all honesty you have got exactly what you deserved. I have always had a soft spot for the Baggies as it seems we are very similar clubs, with fantastic support and a shared hatred of the dingles from down the road, but the attitude of your fans over the past couple of seasons has led to me, and I am sure many others, taking great delight in your downfall.
If the impossible does occur and you somehow manage to break the hoodoo we have held over you for the past god knows how many years, be sure to enjoy it, savour the moment, and cherish the memories of your "big" win when you are back in the fizzy pop league. I am sure your brand of "beautiful" football will be far more successfull against the likes of Swansea, Doncaster and Blackpool and you can get back to deluding yourselves about how your "beautiful" brand of football will someday take the Premier League by storm.
I would like to say we will miss you, but we won't, but we will be thinking of you when we welcome the Dingles as your replacements next season as it will be their turn to provide the "local" laughs.

Agree! I thougt it was the manager who decided the tactics, decided which players to be bought/sold and picked the team for the matches? Mowbray has failed miserably in all these parts, if you ask me.
I've got nothing against WBA and wouldn't mind if they stay up (not on our expence, of course...).

By the way that video filmed on our promotion day was (from what I believe) in the south stand, by knob heads at half time. It will be great when we out sing you though, when your all sat in silence sipping your tea.

Tbh, he isn't really a bad keeper. Just a few adjustments and he'll be a top keeper. Don't forget he's quite young in goalkeeping terms. It's just when he messes up, he messes up real bad.

See that's the kind of sanctimonious bullshit that loses you any respect. I've been to the Hawthorns on many occasions and I'm curious as to what exactly you think we need to be prepared for? Albion have got a decent fan base but please don't go getting ahead of yourself, last season the main noise your lot made sounded like a load of hissy fitting girls.
