If you ask 99 out of 100 smokers I think you will find they would all like to pack up if they could. Smoking helps to calm you,and after 90 mins of a Stoke match you need calming,I for one cant remember this Smoking ban going to a vote,it was forced on us by politicians I dont even know !! And has for it being a European thing! thats a load of bollox, you can smoke at footy matches over here and in pubs so why is England different,all these anti smoker brigade never said feck all before the smoking ban came in, so please dont call me a selfish twat!! I would love to pack up smoking,but considering the taxes I pay on a packet of fags to keep the country going a smoking area at the ground isnt too much to ask is it. You stick to the childish footy card collecting and leave us smokers alone!!

Since when has smoking calmed the nerves ? This is just some smokers excuse that they need a fag because they are missing their fix.
Anyone who can't wait through a whole football match without smoking is sad. Complete waste of money, harmful to yours and anyone else nearby health, selfish yes and this extra tax paying excuse is rubbish. Who fills up the hospitals and uses up the nhs budget due to smoke related problems ?

When I did live over there numpty,and when I come over I still have to pay extorsonate tax on em dont I. People die from cancer without smoking.....but I suppse all you non smoking do gooders will say its from passive smoking. Everybody is born with cancer cells its just the unlucky few where they become active that suffer, and about 10 to 20 years ago when this smoking causes cancer shit came out most of the population smoked so obviously they would link the 2. Stafford, where have you got this we have all got to pay for the smoking crap from ? Did you have to pay extra for the scoreboard,posh advertising boards,new PA System?? NO!!!! so how do you think they are going to make you pay for the smokers sheds then eh ? And to be honest mate, a 30 year old bloke collecting footy cards is a bit childish,be honest?

dont worry about smokers costing more for treatment to the nhs and the british taxpayer, logically at least they won't be claiming a state pention for long, or need old age nhs treatment, old peoples homes etc, they will die early.
