fighting at football has always happened and always will happen.
There are a number of hooligans at every club and they see it as defending there club and they also get a buzz out of it.
If two sets of fans want a fight then let em get on with it I say

If that lad's a Stoke fan then it's awful, poor guy. It is unacceptable even if it's Vale. Lets not get hasty mate

At about 1:00pm on Saturday I saw a car and a minibus, both full of Boro fans, arrive at the ground. They had the windows wound down and were abusing anybody they drove past, chanting songs and basically inviting trouble. There are no many grounds in Britain where you can get away with that sort of behaviour. In fact there are not many town centres either where you could do it and not get clipped. It's desperately sad but it's also the way of the world. The lad in the picture isn't wearing any colours so how could anybody have known who he supported if he didn't advertise the fact himself? I manage to go all over the country, year after year, without every getting involved in incidents like this. It's not that difficult. I was thinking the same thing

It's not that difficult. bang on mate, spent years watching stoke and travelling down from yorkshire, every home game was an away game and travelling back was "entertaining" on lots of occasions, seeing loads of mither happen and sometimes being in the wrong pub at the wrong time . but if you kept your head down from time to time you got on fine.......but seeing the people who wanted to broadcast where they were from and think they were tommy ten men never ceased to amaze me...........
