Groan from across the pound. Was converted to be a Stokie! Have a couple of mates i play with on xbox that got me into SCFC! Hell they were even nice enough to send me a Stoke Top!!! Have been trying to watch as many matches as i can. First game i watched was Aston Villa. And have been hooked since! Last saturday killed me when i couldnt find a link to work! so i had to read the txt by txt on BBC and the SCFC site. Loved to see that they got the 3 points needed!!!! Next year im already planning a visit over, and part of the plan is to come see a Stoke game at Britannia!! Any of you fancy a beating at FIFA 09 by a Stoke yank let me know! hahah

Good man. A good friend of mine Johnny Lee from South Carolina and a huge Steelers fan is now an honorary Stokie as well. Sent me some photos of himself in Iraq wearing his shirt holding his terrible towel.
Bizarrely you don't look unlike him

blackswanscfc, No wonder they sent you that shirt, it's a seconds, if you notice the writing is back to front. ;D Now any good friend would have sent you the genuine article. Visited Pittsburgh in the late 80's and thought it was a smart city, loved the rivers and stadiums. My Sister in law is from that neck of the woods. Welcome aboard fella, hope you enjoy the ride.

Looks to me like you've gotten yourself a little too excited in your new top and jizzed down/up the front.
Just an observation like, easily done under the circumstances.

Hi. It is good to see that you have adopted us /been converted. You are obviously an individual of great taste.
I am sure you are aware that Stoke is/was an industrial town based on iron, engineering, coal, and pottery.Similar to Pittsburgh. We even have a river...which we made into the most polluted in the UK!
When our Channel 4 started to broadcast American Football in the early 80s,The Steelers were the team I supported because of their 'natural affinity' with Stoke-far better than any pansy team with a Dolphin (even though they had Pittsburghs finest Quarterback playing for them).
Hope you become the germ that infects others over in P.A. Best wishes.
