It did kick off.
Probably 30 Mboro "lads" got out and were happy to mix it although outnumbered. There were a few bloody faces though, yet they still were shouting "we stood ya !!" ( just go home, you lost, you had a bad day, don't make it worse ).

There was a minibus full of Boro lads who parked up on the corner opposite Greens where you turn in for the new Lexus garage. They were defo game & up for a row after & suprising they found afew Stokies who duly obliged. Staffordshire's finest then turned up late as ever waving their batons about. Everyone on the supporters buses had the perfect ringside view.
No sympathy for these clowns as they knew exactly what they were up to by parking there & they caused the problem by attacking the Stokies walking past. Don't think they'll want to return to the Potteries though in a hurry, serves 'em right.

There was someone on the floor in that minibus! It took the squad about 5 mins to get there!

Good laugh I thought, the guy who climbed the 1st green fence behind the south stand then was stuck in no mans behind the other fence, soon had second thoughts about climbing the other 1 to get to us.

saw the one with borough fans in that mini bus. seem pre arranged as they were all on their phones then a short time later it all kicked off with the borough bus getting a kicking. One lad got stamped on in their bus and couldnt stand after. I feel bad saying it but they deserved what they got as theres no excuse for violence. And yes this went on for at least 5 mins with out the coppers even so much as realising what was going on and even then only a big fat bastard policeman tried to chase some stoke lad but was obviously unsuccessful.

The two police officers on the main roundabout were informed on several occasions by passing coaches what was going on by the poor mans Mercedes showroom but thought it fit to carry on with their "obviously" more important conversation they were having at the the time..talk about dumb and dumber. Who were the lads in the grey minibus BTW..

On another note there was a small disturbance afer the Portsmouth game in the identical area, warrants a larger police presence one thinks.

These were probably the same cocks that were singing "score off a throw in, they only score off a throw in" whilst walking down to the away end before the match.
Oh the irony. ;D

THREE Middlesborough fans were arrested after a Stoke City steward was assaulted at yesterday's match. Police and stewards were called on after trouble flared between two groups outside the South Stand of the Britannia Stadium following the game. Superintendent Bernie O'Reilly, from Stoke-on-Trent police division, said: "Officers and stewards had to disperse fans from around the South Stand car park area. "Both groups of fans were intent on confronting each other. "During this a steward was assaulted and was taken to hospital. Three people have been arrested." three men arrested, all from the Middlesborough area and in their twenties, have now beenreleased on bail pending further inquiries. The injured steward remained in hospital today. Police are studying CCTV footage of the incident.

that boro mini bus arrived as I walking down past the Lexus garage, not sure they were all lads though as a few had boro shirts on and were just getting off the bus having a stretch after the long journey and starting speaking to people walking past about the match.
Walked back that way after the game and the faces hanging round that bus were only there for one reason and seemed not to be the one's who got off that bus before, mid thirties, deadly serious, group of about 12 of em on mobiles foucused in the direction of the ground. Fairly obvious it was about to kick off, defo an organised bunch as they simpley weren't interested in the stoke shirted good folk walking past.

#Probbaly the same lads who walked towards the tunnel to give the john smiths stand lads some abuse on about 85minutes...So stewards pulled the tunnel out, didn't stop a couple from trying climb on it though

Some black youth absolutely sparked out one of the Boro fans, it was the sweetest punch I've ever seen. It absolutely flattened him, brilliant. ;D

That fat bastard traffic copper was a pisser, he obviously saw it kicking off but was too scared to do anything about it- people were honking their horns and telling him and he only started jogging over when another couple of policemen started making their way.
Still can't get over that black lad's punch, what a fucking beauty! ;D
