I really think he is as I've just heard the most absurd (but sadly predictable) load of tripe I've ever had the misfortune to hear. After being told by his ginger mate that brittle bone victim Theo Walcott is injured again after WALKING off the training pitch the complete prat managed to all but blame Rory for him being out again!! Never one to worry about facts (or admitting his dislike of Rory just because of the incident with the lad from Man City who isn't his son) he completely ignores that Walcott has recovered from his shoulder injury he suffered at the Brit only to then go and dislocate his OTHER shoulder (a well known issue with Walcott) and now after recovering again he injures his knee, which prompted Wright the tosser, to comment that tackles like Rory's should be stamped out and they often mean that further injuries such as this new one can occur. Ian Wright - like my arse.

There isn't enough tackling in the modern game. Delap's tackle was late, but the fact is that Walcott dived over him and got what he deserved for cheating.

'Yes and all this from a man who spits at players when he can't get his own way then plays the race card.'
Tony Meola the USA keeper reported Wright for racial abuse in a friendly years back. Said throughout the game Wright verbally abused him about his Italian-American background. Nothing came of it of course.
When Big Ron made his gaffe- Wright was one of the first on the anti racist bandwagon.
He's a moron who would be dangerous with a brain inserted

Best of it is, when he played (and he was a good) his game was very much based on an agressive attitude. Now he's a pundit, he's banging on like he used to be some sort of "gentleman of the game". Thank you for your oh so wise words, Sir Ian Wright. (Tosser).

I used to listen to Wright and Durham on the way home from work - but Durham & Wright talks such utter bollocks I can't any more. Wright is a child in a mans body. Durham is like Jeremy Kyle but not nearly as effective.
reference the comments on Delaps challenge, when was that said, cos Braindead Wright wants pulling up on it, and I'm happy to do the phone call

I remember during the Euros he commented on a Greek goalscorer as being desperate to win the title . Schmeichel obviously realising he had no idea who the guy was asked him how he knew.
'Because I da man' he said!!! Summed him up. Another black BBC token pundit.

I met Ian Wright outside the Stade de France just before the France v Brazil WC Final. My brother spoke to him- to be fair I couldn't be arsed as he came over as being a bigger retard in real life. Says a lot when you meet a fantastic player and don't want to shake hands, have a photo etc. That's how little I think of the guy. Can't think of any other player I'd say that about.
Doubt Wright lost sleep etc but hey :-)

I've just emailed Mr Wright, wonder if it gets mentioned? The Most stupid man in football. I would imagine that even you will have worked out that the title refers to you Ian. I've had my suspicions (probably starting with your appearances on Match of the Day) but your interview with Adrian Durham on Saturday after he informed you about Theo Walcott's latest injury certainly confirmed your status as a complete fool. For you to make even the slightest connection between Theo Walcott's new injury and his unfortunate dislocated shoulder in Arsenal's defeat at the Britannia Stadium is ill-informed at best and quite frankly idiotic at worst. While Rory Delap's tackle wasn't the greatest ever witnessed it certainly wasn't anywhere near as bad as many of the challenges we've seen this season and there was no intent to hurt Walcott at all. Now on to your stupidity; it's fair to say that anyone with a brain is aware that since his injury at Stoke, Walcott has recovered only to dislocate his OTHER shoulder in a totally seperate incident. Walcott has a history of shoulder problems, so this second injury whilst unfortunate, perhaps isn't a massive surprise. He recently recovered and resumed training only to have his knee lock up as he was walking from the training ground. Now what I and many other Stoke fans would like to know is how you think that Rory Delap's tackle on him has ANYTHING to do with his current injury? Now I realise that you have precious little journalistic professionalism and you certainly have no issue in letting the incident between Rory and Shaun Wright-Phillips cloud your judgement (which is a little tragic to be honest) but this latest outburst is beyond a joke. Rory Delap was gulity of nothing more than a tired tackle towards the end of a game and he recieved the correct punishment for the challenge at the time which was a yellow card, I would suggest in the interests of you not making yourself look even more stupid than usual, you perhaps let this one go Ian. Jamo Loyal, proud and Stoke.

Excellent email with one slight problem.
Wright has an iq you could beat with one dart and won't be able to read or understand it.

I haven't listened to Durham and Wright in the afternoon for ages now. I think Durham is a fairly piss poor wind up merchant who talks crap merely to create a phone in show. Why oh why they don't listen and learn to genuinly talented presenters like Collymore and Kelly is beyond me.
But if Durham is a poor wind up merchant the worry is the thickprick Wright actually seems to beleive what he is saying! Ian Wright at least says he would never make a manager, at least this proves deep down he actually knows hes a stupid gobshite with no talent whatsoever off the pitch!
The good news is talksport tend to sack useless presenters fairly quickly so hopefully he'll soon be gone
