millermay: Every single thing you write on this board is utter shite and you have not proved me wrong here either. It is all negative tripe and sometimes you do have some good points but then ruin it by posting such pointless shit like this? Just brighten up abit.

guys you cant abuse someone for having an opinion, no matter how farfetched it is from your own. everyone has a right to say what they think on here.
while i dont agree with much millermay has said, its true that if we do go down it will be down to away form. it was a bad decision yesterday not to start ethers, real pace down the left would have caused more problems from the start. we had to big target man type centre forwards on the pitch yesterday, surely the best option would have been to give them decent service from the off with lawrence and ethers putting balls in from either flank. we still would have had salif and whelan in there, enough defensively for me.
to play for a draw and then try and hit them on the break you need passing players who can create balanced with a couple of defensive mids. second half was quite a good performance tbh, but we cant go to places like everton and give 2 goals away expecting to back with something.

As much as it pains me to say so I do think he has a bit of a point. I love TP as he has worked wonders with our club, however, I do think that we could be sittin a bit safer with a few more points under our belts if he wasn't so stubborn with his defensive tactics away from home. Regardless of this I do think our home form will be enough to keep us up and WHEN we do stay up a fair amount of the credit must go to TP.

I think alot on here secretly agree with me but are to far up tonys arse they are afraid to admit it.Look back at the games this season where we could of got something if he had,nt been so stubburn with his team selection,he has done wonders getting us here but the way some of you speak is you would be happy being back in the championship as long as sir tony is in charge. If he had of used his brain with selections then we would of picked up more points away from home instead of shitting ourselves for the next 5-6 games, you odviously dont know much about football or you are just as stubburn. Are you sure you are not a lessy stafford?

;D By the way, what is it about Millermay and his ilk that we just can't help rising to the bait? Best way of dealing with them is to totally ignore them. Just can't do it though

Well at least pulis has managed to get more points this season than you're IQ Miller. Sacking the manager with 10 weeks left to go in a season. Cracking idea!!

Everton are a very good side. They also had an offside goal in their favor. Whilst in the first half our performance was poor it was better than of late. It was very disappointing however that Everton were 2-0 up after their first 2 shots. In the second half we improved considerably and I thought we were going to equalize. Mind you by then Cahill was off and Everton thought they were going to coast to a comfortable victory and took their foot off the gas. I do think that we need to look at how the players warm up away from home because we always seem to start off the pace.

I do think that we need to look at how the players warm up away from home because we always seem to start off the pace. IMHO we've suffered a little from the "Blackburn Effect" - A reaction to the one game where we actually tried to impose ourselves from the off, and ended up 3-0 down in 25 minutes. Since then we've looked shit-scared of putting a foot wrong. The lads need some belief.
