I think we can now see for sure that Mama and Beattie up front together just doesn't work. I think it's about time Fuller and Beattie got a start together, but I don't see TP doing it though.... ???

At the game on me phone and let me assure you delap diao and sidebe are truly terrible. This is not going down well with many here despite the noise. We are worse than derby away from home.

The reason we were confident this morning was the last 15-20 minutes at villa. We all sensed the right balance of team was on the field. We combined our usual gusto with playing football.
We thought TP realised he hit the right formula. We thought 'he's gotta go with this for the Everton match'.
HOW WRONG I WAS.
Back to square 1! Now we can be forced to play football, great! Only issue is we are 2-0 DOWN.
So let's get another crackin' 2-2 draw!!

Well hopefully this will help Tone realise he needs Fuller and Ethers on the pitch for 90 mins for the remaining matches...

Im afraid the blame for the result so far is TP. I havent criticised him at all this season but the decision to Start Mama and leave Ricci and Ethers on the bech beggers belief. Diao is shite and i cant really recall a great performance from him at all this season. I just feel sorry for the Stoke fans who have spent there money travelling to Goodison to watch this Shite but hopefully Ricci and Ethers come on soon and change the game

Well midfield needs to change, Neville and Cahill have it to themselves so far. As is said above Diao and Delap are not at the races at all. Up front we have no edge, Beats is playing in midfield as that is the only way he is going to get the ball. As for Sorro - he has had a mare so far

Just in from work and not a nice welcome with the score.
Best performance by a Stoke player this season was probably Diao at Wigwam. Shame he is not playing like that today.
Whelan back to his worst - he really needs to sort out his consistency.
However, what is Tommy doing away from home yet again. Villa's first goal, Sunderland's first goal and now both Everton goals.
Lets get Ethers and Ric on the field and see what we can do.

Just an observation but with the current set-up and through no fault of his own, Beattie looks fairly anonymous (he has tried hard) and nowhere near scoring. Same problem that Kitson faced in a lot of games at the start of the season (especially away from home)????

I thought we had a good chance today to upset the apple cart but the side he has put out is little different from the one that has been beaten so many times and again we are 2 down.
Somehow he has got to get Etherington, Fuller involved quickly but I cant see us pulling anything out of this to be honest.
We need to throw the kitchen sink at Boro next week because if we dont win I will start to think we have fucked it.

Everything straight over his head to the forwards then they're sending it straight back. Central midfield might aswell go for a brew as we dont seem to want to pass the ball anywhere near them.

I would also disagree that Whelan has had a bad first half - he was one of only a few who was passing to his teammates. It must be difficult for him playing centre midfield with Diao as bad as Diao played that half.
