Rather curiously Everton attempt to control the game in the 2nd half after a fortuitous deflected 3rd with 2 minutes to go. They're nothing.

There's no way we can have the same starting line up against west brazil - we have to go for the throat

Once again we get taken apart in the first half, then completely turn around our form in the second. If only higgy had connected ball and head from that corner, it would have been 2-2 and Everton would really have been rocking.
But he didn't and we didn't really get another chance.
A decent team Everton, especially with all their injuries. In the end we deserved little after the first half perfomance and we certainly can't expect to get much when our keeper gives the opposition a two-goal start.
Hey-ho ... as said above, roll on Boro and the biggest four games of our season.

Didn't play the ball and challenge enough in the first half. Everton always looked dangerous through Fellani, Pienar,Cahill etc A much better performance by us in the second. For long periods we had them sweating. Sorensen had a poor game despite a couple of good saves. Difficult to pick a MOM but Ryan should get it for some good challenges and another goal.

Frustrating in the end but a distinct improvement for 20 miuntes or so, against a top six team.
We have a home match to come, win that and we will be sixth bottom again hopefully.
The good news about Boro is they probably won't now sack Southgate and bring in some messiah (Robson?) to save them just in time for our game. Also keeps Pompey right in it, game in hand is away at Man U.
(I know Robson is a crap manager but so is Keegan and look what that did to Newcastle v us).

shame to be in the bottom three, but it was always going to be hard to get anything today. it's the home games and away games at WBA and hull that really matter now.
today, the better team won. Bring on next week.
