personally think the writings on the wall for them. if we win tomorrow there'll be 7 points between us. seems to me the battle ahead is for the other 2 places out of several teams. would like to see dull & newcastle join them

I think the writings been on the wall for a while but I wouldn't write them off just yet!
A couple of wins for anyone down the bottom completly alters the look of the table

Yeah they will soon be out of the equation. Defending as shit as they have this morning suggests they have given up themselves. One less relegation place for us to fret about.

Plenty of footy left to play - no-one is written off just yet I agree, look what Fulham did last year. Anything can happen yet, somebody can go shooting up, somebody can fall with a BANG.

Not just being funny or anything but Brazil aren't the side Fulham were last season.
Great goal by Drogba.

Don't count your chickens etc etc
All it needs is a couple of straight wins and they're back in the frame...
Too many of the bottom clubs are playing each other for anyone to be cancelled out yet...and that includes us...

You can be sure mowbray will be looking at the game with us as the one that can turn their season around. Let's make sure we destroy their season. I wouldn't write anyone off though. Anything can happen yet.

They would have to somehow tighten up the way they play....seems Moanbray wont give up his principles.....their back 4 really do look pants and they are not suddenly going to turn into Ab Fayes are they?

No gloating here.
From the outside looking in, it looks like the baggies team and manager have lost the support of the fans. Thank god, we are a long way from that.

Nah I wouldn't write them off completely, if we lose tomorrow there's still only 4 points in it.

We have Brazil and Dull away. These are the worst 2 teams in the Prem and are two genuine opportunities of 3 points. Lets just hope they don't change managers

At this stage of the season 6pts adrift is incredibly difficult to make up. You are effectively looking at 4-5 wins - two to catch up and at least two to 'push on' + the odd draw or two. Sides at the bottom generally don't win 40%+ of their remaining fixtures. There may be one or two teams that will achieve this but there will another 4-5 who don't. If we win tonight I think WBA will have a mountain to climb...and a big one at that. Not impossible but unlikely in my opinion. If they do it then fair play...it means they will have put Newcastle down instead and that would be no bad thing!

Interesting link to the West Brom site. Whist routing around on there I found an interesting link. Apparently, out of all the relegation candidates we have taken the most points from the Top 6 teams... www.westbrom.com/forum/index.php?topic=38952.0

None of our rivals are 'OUT OF THE PICTURE' and if we start to believe they are then we will have problems. We recently went 12 games with 1 win. It can happen again. I hope it doesn't and I'm sure it won't but lets not taken anything for granted. we must do the business ourselves. Of course we're looking at our rivals results and last night went well, but we can't get depressed every time one of them wins. Let's just get on with getting the points we need then the others can do whatever they like.

Too many teams in the same position, and a lot of them to play each other. Too soon to relegate anybody yet. It's going to be a nail biter till the end again for us, and a few other teams as well. No doubt about it though, we do now have some very good players in the squad, and with a bit of luck, we'll make it. Tonight result though, could have a bif bearing on our season.
