...who would you support and why?
I think I'd take the names of all the clubs from within a 50 mile radius of my house, for ease of watching them, minus the Shit as I couldn't bear to support them, then pick one at random.
I imagine there'd be an AFC Wimbledon type break-off club as well.

probably millwall, seem to be the only club around my way with as much passion and moderate amounts of violence as stoke and i need that in a team. i couldnt follow a team like fulham that just sit there in silence until they score then they politely clap (anyone who went to the fa cup game a few years back , i think it might have been doooooobs last game for us or first game after he left. oh wait this has gone off track abit) anyway yeah

As much as it may pain some to hear, seeing as I have a few Unwashed mates, I'd probably be tempted go the Vale if Stoke was no longer an option. If not then the Villa seeing as I'm close to them at uni anyway

No one. I've suffered enough by supporting Stoke. Why would I want to have to got through it again if I could choose not to?

this has to be the hardest question i have ever heard.
the only other club that i would follow without feeling guilty would be castle town.
there wold be no-one else i couldnt live with it.
and there is no way that i would even think about supporting the shit.
what a question mate you have got me thinking.

If there was a break off club then it would, ofcourse, be them. If there was not then.. hmmm... Villa? Not too far away, fairly decent set of fans, not full of GH's, for now anyway.

Havant and Waterlooville. My local team is Pompey and I was born within spitting distance of Fratton Park and a majority of my friends are Pompey fans, but, I'm poor and Havant and Waterlooville would be nicer on the wallet.

Dead easy question for me.
Absolutely no one! Football is an overpriced rip off which very rarely gives value for money. Most other sports are much more well balanced and teams aren't allowed to bully /buy their way to domination with little or no competition allowed.
If Stoke went pop I'd watch the occasional match on TV and spend my extra dosh on weekends away and go to more theatre or other sports probably go to one or two of the big tennis tournaments.

I'd support a local non league team. You don't see overpaid cheats in non league. If their was a break off team though i would go with them.

I said Everton, or the break off club.
Though on reflection, if there wasn't a break off club, i couldn't support anyone, it wouldn't be the same.
Like the way I can't ever support any one else in my life now, unlike people who say "I've supported my team since I was 12" Well that means they've chose a team out of anywhere, well that wasn't it for me; my dad 'brain washed me' from a baby and honestly, it's the greatest thing he could of done for me. I see myself "stuck" with Stoke now, which I feel privileged to be in the position of, that I could never support ANYONE else, no matter how bad it gets i''ll still be there week in week out, even if we were in non-league.
.. I went to Everton v Reading last year and it was WANK. No atmosphere, I didn't care what the score was and I didn't really want to be there, and it would just be like that with anyone else even if Stoke went out of business.

1)I'd create a club FC Stoke potters, 2)apply to Vale for a groundshare (which they would'nt refuse because they are skint), 3) advertise in the paper to Stoke supporters offering trials for the team, 4) Apply to join a league 5) appoint lou macari as boss 6) Urge all Stokies to support FC Stoke Potters by turning up to the match and paying gate fee's 7) With great support and better players, storm through the leagues and sell the club when we reached the premiership for a tidy profit. ( after buying Vale out an closing them down for good). 8) S-o-T has one club and everybody is happy. ;D

There would NEVER be a replacement Stoke City.....EVER

Nobody else - the passion cannot be there for any other club
I like Villa and Everton, but I would save up and go to South Africa, Australia or New Zealand for a winter test series
