Jesus it's all a bit nicey nicey on here. It's our 1st year in the prem for 23 years and yet we're not supposed to be pleased their top player could be out for a while. Don't make me laugh. The blokes not got cancer he's hurt his knee. Career threatening maybe but not life threatening so stop being so pretentious Soi. You weren't so sympathetic about the pissed up bloke throwing himself out of the bus but a painful knee to a millionaire who doesn't 'need' to work gets you up on your high horse? If he was 21 and had not made his money yet i could understand it a bit more but at his age you're just being melodramatic. It's good news for us, we've had our fair share of injuries this season and now it's their turn. Hopefully Downing, Pennant and Cisse will get injured tomorrow and i'll be even happier. well said trumpton!!!

Whats going piss me off now IF hull do get relegated and Bullard is out for a lengthy time it will eb all the hull fans and especially tango "we were dead unlucky with injurie o our key player at the important part of the season" blah blah. What about all the luck you had at the begining of the season, that put in you in much higher place than you should be!

'You weren't so sympathetic about the pissed up bloke throwing himself out of the bus '
And you know that how?
Wasn't on my high horse at all- just saying I don't get all this Hull obsession with their manager and players. Sad you care so much really

At the start of the season i was mortified with this gloomy expectation of injuries/suspensions and bolstering a squad in the summer transfer window to accommodate it ???
Truth is, it is an expected part of the game, regardless of how well you try to avoid it. It could be any player from any team....but it's advantageous to the opposition if you are facing a sqaud whose better players are injured or suspended. It works both ways!
Not too long ago, i was reading a hull forum and they were practically wishing Rory to break both arms!
It didn't make me irrational...it's banter!

Simple question- why the hell would a Stoke fan be pissed off if Hull got relegated and Brown was making excuses about it????
He could moan all he wanted for all I care as long as we don't go down with them.

Why, I don't know don't like when teams use injuries as an excuse. the manager should pick a good enough squad where they have adequate cover to cover injuries and suspensions but when 3 out of your 4 are injured/suspended - that is unlucky...but when one is and you cant replace him with some one nearly as good, its bad buying in the window IMO

He could moan all he wanted for all I care as long as we don't go down with them. Brown has an encyclopaedia of excuses which he thumbs through every week after the match for his post match comments! Agree there, Soi...i'd actually be looking forward to hearing the drivel he comes up with to justify 'missing out on Europe' in favour of getting thrown back to the Championship

Sad you care so much really Because you posted what you thought on the www mate, that's how i know Besides i agreed with you, no sympathy with him at all. I don't have an obsession with Hull but along with West Brom, Boro, Newcastle & Pompey i see them as our rivals and therefore i have an interest in how they will do. DON'T YOU? Anything that means they are likely to get less points is good for us. It's not that hard. I do agree with you though, if they get relegated i couldn't give a monkey's what excuses they use. If they want to lump too many eggs in one basket that's their risk.

I agree A Teen but not our problem. Most managers make excuses but doesn't concern me. Look at Wenger , Dave Jones, Warnock etc moaning about us. I personally love it because it shows we riled them.
Some teams do get unlucky with injuries the way it goes. Moaning about it doesn't change things and certainly won't lose sleep or get annoyed if Phil Brown or any other manager use it as an excuse IF they go down.
Won't worry about a few Hull fans on another site wishing injury on Rory- shows they're worried about him. Moronic comment anyway. I just don't get why day after day there are constant threads re Hull this and Hull that.
As long as we finish 17th or above I couldn't care less what happens with them.

I have a soft spot for stoke with my best mate being a stoke fan, he gets me watching a lot of your games on internet, (only when it doesnt clash with a hull game), plus he gave me a lift to the brit, so hope you stay up.

Because you posted what you thought on the www mate, that's how i know
Did I???????
I'm not envious about Hull in the slightest and convinced they won't finish above us with or without Bullard. Long way to go and am certain things are looking up for us. Will worry how we do and the table will sort itself out.
What does baffle me is that there are 9 threads re Bullard and one re Defoe. Surely that is a real blow to a relegation rival.

I can't find the thread though so if it wasn't you i apologise I'm sure when West Ham went down with 42 points they thought the table would sort itself out aswell but it didn't so i'll carry on hoping the shit teams get injuries and the good ones don't and we're bound to need less then. As for Defoe i'll go any money you like that Spurs finish above Hull and not in relegation trouble so i still see Hull as a main competitor along with others i mentioned earlier that didn't include Spurs.

Didn't post re the Man U fan as thought the thread turned into a bit of a stupid slanging match ( As you know I'd never take part in one of them). Personally can't sympathise with someone who jumps out of a coach into head on traffic unless he's escaping from a discussion with RAF .
See your point re Spurs- my point re Bullard was that if we end up in the same boat, those giving it large might be the first to moan if the tables reversed. The way things are at the bottom it's very much in our own hands with the home games we have so feel we have no excuses if we go down. I don't think one individual like say Jimmy Bullard will be that important to our plight. The Rory red card possibly as big a blow to us with some lesser teams to come maybe.

Pathetic that some are getting pleasure from a player's injury- agree with the above. How would you feel if the roles were reversed. What is this idiotic thing with constant posts re Hull??? Seems some more interested in them than our own club. Am personally concerned with what we do on and off the field-might happen to one of our stars a then you'll be calling for similar messages to be removed. Grow up. Jealousy on the fact that they landed a good player and are above us in the table Absolutely spot on. Brown has said he hopes Bullard will be involved on Saturday, but thats irrelevant. Morons taking pleasure out of any players injury is ridiculous, whoever they play for. Pathetic mindless thread
