A Blunderland win. That would be best for us IMHO.

...eerrr, I assume you don't mean next week Joe? It was nice to see a beautiful goal by an ex-Stokie last week (Danny Tiatto) & also Hayden coming on for Perth Glory (ex-Acadamy)

Cant make my mind up what is best result in this. I guess its a Sunderland win, with a good mass brawl that sees Jones and Cisse sent off for violent conduct.
Scrappy affair so far. I fancy us to break our away win duck next week.

...we have Cyclone Ellie up our arse just at the moment, so if I don't post much more tonight it probably means our house is a bit flat - oh the joys of living in Oz!

Draw or a Blunderland win, I reckon.
Been end to end stuff for the first half hour. Both teams hit the bar. A enjoyable encounter.
Ameobi, can you believe we paid £500,000 to loan him at the end of last season!
Steve Harper - Nice to see him finally get a chance, been there all his career and hardly ever played. Seems Citeh will be having Given at their place tomorrow.

I'm not sure what score this will end up; but I'm pretty sure it won't end with 11 playing 11.
Blunderland just about deserve the lead, I reckon

Why didn't Cisse come to us? 50 thousand reasons, and each one of them a pound a week

Why didn't Cisse come to us? Can you imagine him and fuller up front. The lad passes even less than Ricci does. Talk about a strike partnership that just wouldn't work! ah

Next week it will be some combination of Shawcross and Abdi against Jones and Cisse and I know where my money's going.
I can see a Sunderland win as the best result now. Newcastle won't recover from a second defeat against these and will sink like a stone.

Talk about a strike partnership that just wouldn't work! ah Could alwas have Nicholas Anelka. He's so greedy he doesn't shoot because the ball has to leave his feet. Whats the odds on Kinnear going defensive in the 2nd half. Also, for a derby the atmosphre is shocking. Can't hear anything. Watching football first when I got back from Geordie land, all I could hear was Stoke singing!

Richard Keys "Newcastle of course in trouble if it stays like this. Ruud Gulliet who used to manage Newcastle and myself will be back after the break" - camera shoots to Ruud Gulliet looking as smug as anyone could possibly be. Well he did do a better job than Kinnear!
Whats the deal with the shorts to? Thought two teams couldn't wear the same colour shorts? Or were Panathanikos only fined because they were playing Arsenal?

Could alwas have Nicholas Anelka. He's so greedy he doesn't shoot because the ball has to leave his feet. ;D And we've paid 'Castle more than enough for Ameobi ... We should get a refund on that if we take him off their hands. 0-1 at HT ... natives restless, Blunderland looking good for their lead. Not looking good for 'Castle, for the season, is it? ah

I'll never forget at Sheff Wed when Amoebi had the great chance to put us 2 up and instead of shooting he just stood there with his fingers up his arse.

The basis of Newcastle's attack has been get the ball to Ameobi with his back to goal so he can turn and send it miles over the crossbar.
