I'm all for helping Stafford Rangers in their hour of need but their own fans are hardly rallying round are they? Think there was about 450 there on Saturday, very poor indeed.

Have you posted the same on any Wolves message boards? If they go in numbers taking their dickheads along with them what could be a fun fundraising day could turn into a Stoke v Wolves battle. Better go tooled up lads.

Are there talk of Jimmy coming back to you or is it just what you'd like to happen.
No offence but I'd like to see him at somewhere in League Two/Conference for the rest of this season but I wouldn't be upset if he did go back to The 'Boro*.
I'll be there on the 14th
*Why are you nicknamed the Boro?

Dan- I think it's to do with the 'Borough of Stafford' but surely the badgers/stripes/rangers would be more appropriate?

Post by spoonie on Feb 4, 2009 12:49:26 GMT
i think its because was stafford borough council and all that .... but i dont know for sure why we nicknamed the boro lol
we had both thorley and phillips at the start of the season, thorley came back as you know and we hope that so does phillips, and of course id like to see Marc Grocott back and have a real chance up front with McNiven but i doubt that will happen.

Everywhere Grocotts been there hasn't been much reported on him. Did he look ok for you guys then.
Like I say if you need a keeper Danzelle St.Louis-Hamilton is looking promising and in my opinion could do with some competitive football to fine tune his game

Danzelle is a decent keeper and I'm shocked he hasn't gone on loan anywhere. For me, Grocott has never really impressed and I can't believe he was given a professional contract. What position did he play for you guys?
McNiven is a top finisher and Bull/Brindley did very well to keep hold of him when he seemed to be already gone.
