Give me Andy Gray and his magic pen any day.

I can't believe the paranoia. It maybe footballerssitting on the sofa but the people who put together the programmes are journalists. They are obviously more interested in the "big four" as that is the nature of news. It is the same reason why we get stories about the Mayor of London in the newspapers and not about the Mayor of Stoke-on-Trent. It ain't going to change so why get upset about it?

MOTD, the national media, English football coverage worldwide, in fact....they are all the same - football started in 1992, the big four are all that matters, the rest are just cannon fodder etc. Even when we beat the Arse it was all about their losing, not our winning. It's all a big game designed to sell as many papers as possible/feed the gloryhunting armchair fanslob, with not a trace of objective journalism in sight.
We support our team, we are proud of them and their never say die attitude. I've long since stopped giving a toss what the media think about us. The rest of you need to do the same.

I quite accept that- I don't think it should be so but that is the way of the world. I can quite happily accept us being ignored. As put on my other post though it is the total lack of respect when talking about us (this is aimed the Guardian) that get on my tits. To use your analogy- they don't talk about the mayor of Stoke-on-Trent but they also don't call him a cunt.

We pay our license fee, therefore we pay for a balanced production, balanced editing and balanced views-that can add to the debate, beyond stating the bloody obvious. And our license fee pays their wages.
Since football clubs are 'products'and placement on the tele is a form of advertising,it is not unreasonable to expect a balanced output with regards all the teams shown...otherwise it constitutes bias, something which should rightly be condemned as unethical.
Of course we know they are!
