Portsmouth and boro are sliding and one or both of them could easily go down. Any one of about six others could go with them.Im Gutted as anyone about how we lost yesterday but it was the expected result and has no real bearing on our chances. If we are still in contention at the end of Feb after playing Everton and Villa away, then we have a great chance of staying up.

Newcastle Pompey West Brom Stoke and Hull finishing just above winning against Arsenal and Man Utd on the final game of the season to give Liverpool the league and for Stoke and Hull to stay up by 1 point ;D

Just had a look on soccerbase.com, and only two teams have stayed in the Premier League having not won an away game, Leeds in 92/93 and Coventry in 99/00. On both occasions though they won 12 home matches. The other three teams not to win an away match in a season, Norwich, Wolves and Derby all went down.
We've got to find a couple of away wins at least or we'll go the same way I fear.

Newcastle Westbrom and Sunderland
I expect us to be one or more points above this,But with the table being so tight this year i wouldnt be suprised if it all came down to goal difference on the last day.

West Brazil...one result against a dreadful boro side doesn't convince me. Hull.... i really cant see a major turnaround in their freefall As for the third spot.....well heart says Boro...head says stoke by a couple of points

I think we are gonna go down???
How can anyone think that? "I think I am gonna get ill" = person gets ill
"I never have any money" = person constantly skint.
"My football club will get relegated" = you support the baggies, boro, or west sham.
GOOD DAY.

Hull and West Brom are both winnable away games. With a bit of luck we could nick a win at Sunderland and we'd be well on our way to safety.

Plainly Jo - your going on results rather than seeing us play
All I can say is - I honestly dont think we'll be in the bottom three
We're defintely signing better players, we're not lumbered with meaningless cup games and, you only have to look at the bottom halfs remaining fixtures to see its firmly in OUR hands
maybe if I'm pushed
West Brom - Hull and, perm one from bolton, boro, and West ham

If West Ham went into administration, wouldn't they lose points from their next season and not from this season??

A month ago I would have included us in the bottom 3...but after giving The Shit..Liverpool..and Chelsea..an extremely good run for their vast amounts of money....and... Etherington and Beattie, I honestly think we'll stay up...and if Kitson can start firing on more than one cylinder..a respectable bottom 10 finish...
Bottom 3 from
WBA
Hull
Portsmouth
Sunderland
Boro
Any 3 of those..but Hull/WBA definitely....

At the moment, it could be anybody from 20th, to 10th. E.g, if Spurs beat Portsmouth, they can go from 20th, to 12th. Very thrilling few months ahead.
I hope its: 18th - Sunderland 19th - Newcastle 20th - West Brazil

I hope we won't be there. This transfer window can lift us up to mid table. Goals from Fuller, Beattie, Kitson and A. N. Other coming from crosses from Etherington, Lawrence and a new full back, and passes from a new midfielder.
