well according to their manager, Steve Tilson, there's no heating in their changing room which houses a chipped concrete floor...Scolari has a cob on with Drogba and has said today that if he get's sacked he'll get work anyway (as in 'bovvered')...So all's well, there then

bit disappointed that this is the game on ITV, Castle Vs Dull would of been better, if chelsea go an early goal up it will all be a bit pointless

Come on you Shrimpers!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I care. My sister and her family will be there (she married a local and has lived down there 20 years) and so I shall be looking out for them on TV. She's sent me a text saying they're expecting a hiding but at least hopes they can "soften em up" a bit, for the Potters on Saturday

yep, off according to the bbc. news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/7824551.stmSo is this a good or bad thing? Does it mean Drogba will be dropped for Saturday still? A decent win for Chelsea tonight and a bit of confidence might have creeped back in, now they've got us a need the 3 points but have had no time to practice the 'zonal' marking bollocks ...

May be back on again!...Ref is checking again!!!
Back on!
1900: SOUTHEND v CHELSEA IS BACK ON AGAIN! (I think)
1857: Unbelievable. I'm looking at live pictures of the pitch at Roots Hall and it looks fine. Bit foggy but not exactly Dickensian. I'm now hearing referee Chris Foy is going to come back out and have another look. So we may be back on again...
1853: SOUTHEND v CHELSEA IS OFF
1850: No time for idle chit-chat, I bring you breaking news, of sorts. The fog is descending at Roots Hall and the FA Cup replay between Southend and Chelsea is under threat.

If it goes to extra time, and chelsea win right at end, think its best, they wont be out for revenge, bad form eating at them and knackered.

1903: Well, that was a silly seven minutes. Referee Chris Foy called the game off and then, with the fog clearly lifting, came back out again and promptly changed his mind...

Yes it's going to kick off! But if the fog comes back potentially it could be abandoned.
1905: "It's been a very difficult decision. We'll start at 2010 GMT as planned but if the fog comes back down again, we'll have to abandon it. Just before I called the game off, we couldn't see from one end of the pitch to the other but thankfully, for some bizarre reason, it's now as clear as a bell." Referee Chris Foy speaking on BBC Radio 5 Live
