18 degrees (dubaistokie tells us) is perfect. They'll be training and actually won't mind it, in those conditions, but also pleased to be away from the Mich and, hopefully, bonding. The week gets even better. they wont be doing much trainging or tanning... we are underwater at the moment...

Folks at home need to remember that the houses here don't have heating (at least mine doesn't). It's 16c now, which means it's 16c outside and about 16c in my house too.
No fear of Kits getting burnt - it's been overcast for days, and poured down last night. Ric will need to pack his gloves.

Ilflid - I know it really is tough here;-) motorbile couriers are in demand at the moment so you could relocate over here and live the good life I would love to but I don't think I could live over there, apart from that I'm going to apply for some job the missus was telling me about, caretaker on some desert island in a coral reef where they pay you £70K and you only have to write a blog daily

I'm a bit pissed off with this Dubai trip, like ilford said they throw a complete and utter toss performance in against Hartlepool and their punishment is an all expenses paid trip to Dubai.

i think it makes sense... they've got 2 weeks off, and it will give them the opportunity to do some good training sessions in reasonable-ish weather... allows the new lads to bond with the squad, and gives us the opportunity for Pericard to get banged up. also gives me the opportunity to write "Just been to training.." type posts

maybe they will stay at Bin Laden Camp... which actually exists over here It'll be deserted when they hear Ab Faye's on his way! ;D Global Terrorism - sorted! Seriously though - it shows how things have changed. Previous mid-season break - Army camp on Exmoor, current one - Sunny Dubai! We are Premier League!
