31..been following Stoke since my brother took me against Plymouth at the Vic in 1988-89.
Never thought i'd see us in the Prem and signing the players we are. Brings a happy proud tear to my eye that MY LOCAL club in a WORKING CLASS TOWN are doing so well.
:edit: Well I live closer to the fail than Stoke, but Boslem isn't a town and Fail aren't a football club ;D

to be fair monica the commercial dept prob thought that 1,500 would be enough for this fixture with xmas and cost of tickets etc. as you know if they took the full allocation they would have to pay for any unsold tickets.hindsight is wonderfull we could proberly fill the shed now? just a thought but with chelsea imploding they proberly wont need the other tickets so why not give them stoke now?

Does 64 qualify as old? I can't remember trying this excitement stuff, where do you get it? and when you've got some what do you do with it, eat- drink it- smoke it or what?

Im old enough to remember beating Chelsea in the League Cup Final. After being in the lower leagues for more than half of my lifetime I just love being in this league. Winding up other teams and managers and getting insulted on MOTD and in papers just adds to the enjoyment, better to be critisized than for people to say "Stoke Who?"

A very sprightly 52 and still as excited as the day I got my first Stoke scarf for my 8th birthday.
Whilst having a shave this morning, and my 7 year old lad came running up the stairs shouting "It's on the telly, we've signed Beattie, Dad!"
Cue, 52 year old and 7 year old singing "We are Stoke, we are Stoke, we are Stoke!" at the top of their voices at 7.30 in the morning.
As my dear old Mum keeps reminding me, "You never left the bloody playground, that's your trouble!"
Me and the lad are off to Chelsea Saturday, conna wait!
