or have we really got a chance
Seems to me that Drogba isnt interested, Deco is way off the boil, and it may just be the right time to play them
Thoughts?

burnley have proved that you dont need worldclass players to beat chelsea at stamford bridge, man utd have also shown that they are not the team they were 2 seasons ago, if we have a go at them we stand a chance.
they are not 'Unbeatable' at home, their away form is better.

Chelsea were shocking today, so many mistakes and well off the pace...
Let's hope we meet a demoralised off form disharmonised bunch and not a wounded animal out to prove a point...

I wanted United to thrash them, and they did! Now the pressure is really on Chelsea against us, now that could work both ways, but i certainly didn't want to play chelsea away after they had beaten united away!

Their home form is not that good,I think we will go there with a ten man defence and hold out for a goalless draw. It's our only chance when we cannot score.

Could easily be Big Phils last match....if they get nowt from Southend in the Cup,and then a side who havent won away from home, who play in your face football, get a result....Oh God please!

Frustrate them to death in the first half - crowd get on their backs - we nick on in last 10 minutes.

I think they looked a bit unhappy as team today, also didnt defend crosses well, so there is always hope but i wont be putting money on it

Apparently the pitch at stamford bridge is rather small like ours - ilford dave posted some stats on it when they came to our place.

I agree i think we r playin them at the right time. I thought today all of the teams body language was bad once they went 1-0 down. There is definately something not right about them which is good news for us

I think we are going to be facing Chelsea at the wrong time. So many times we see teams do all the arrdd work and then fuck it up by slipping up to so called 'religation fodder'. If Chelsea would have beat Utd today, I could see them sitting back thinking they have got a nice easy game agaist us boys. Now they are going to get a big kick up the arse and the pressure is on them.

It's hard to say how they'll react. We can't ignore the fact that they have world class players and the best way to get todays defeat out of their system is to give us a right hiding.
However if there is as much dressing room unrest as has been suggested and the senior players do want to get Big Phil out then it could be a great time to go there.
Lets be honest it's better to go there now than when they were bang on form.
It will be a bloody brilliant effort if we could go there and put in another Anfield performance, one thing is for sure if we could keep it tight for 20 minutes the natives will get very restless.

Chelsea were very poor today and outclassed in every department. Although we dont have the players Man Ure do, I feel if we can frustrate them we have every chance of getting something from the Bridge. There loss today could work in our favour.
GOARNNNNNNN STOKE!!

It's a good time to play them, but can we all just assume the 'we have no chance' position? This will then make us delirious if we lose by just 1-0, whereas the feeling we might just get something (see Blackburn (A), Man City (A), West Ham (A) etc) leads only to disappointment.
Remember this is us, the awayday disasters.

Let's hope that Fuller, mark 11, (Drogba) has one of those days, that we aren't overawed and that there's a good week's training and fitness work ahead, for some of our most needy lads. Wish their training ground (five minutes from me) was as easy to access as ours.

Errr - are you all forgetting something? It is AWAY from home, i.e. TP will have absolutely no intention of doing anything other than defending for a draw.

some of their marking from set-pieces recently has been schoolboy at best, i really think that if we keep the same level of passion we have shown in the Arsenal & Liverpool games, put plenty of balls in the box etc, we can get something from this game.
Like someone pointed out also, the small pitch will help us with Rory's throws (should we get any) and also because of the compact way we approach away games, there won't be much space on the pitch imo
