We were shit and i'd hate you to think that we play like that every week, but..... your lads effort is great - you just dont get that from abunch of pony tailed continentals. The two massive black lads at centre back and centre mid seemd to scare the shit out of our highly paid alleged best in world superstars. The noise you lot make is pretty useful - as an away supporter only Portsmouth a couple of years ago has bettered that. Pity you don't pass it more, but fuck it you got a point didn't you.
Ps - our support didnt turn up either - pisses me rigt off!

Very honest and sporting Anfieldred. Compares favourably to the bile coming from Dull,Brazil and Manure fans on here. Good luck from here on and tell Rafa to keep after Fergie!

Good luck to you, as long as the shit don't win the PL again I think 99% of football supporters will be happier...

Thank you anfieldred - you've already exceeded the number of complementary comments that we had on here from Man Ure "fans" after their lucky win on Boxing Day, but then more than 0 not a big challenge!

Cheers! You've just met the Fayes, the WWE's best kept tag team secret! To be fair the centre back Faye looked like he could play a bit too. The midfiled one, however, didnt - there was quite a funny bit in the firt half down at our end when he went to cross the ball in from the goal line and then realised that he couldnt do it so beat 3 of our defenders in order that he could kick it backwads 30 yards - what a tackler though!

Cheers for that. When fuller and sidibe get back, we'll have a decent chance of staying up.
"you just dont get that from a bunch of pony tailed continentals..."
Starting line up of Wilkinson, shawcross, higgy, whelan, delap, etherington, cresswell, kitson. Bench of Simonsen, pugh, tonge, griffin - all uk/irish players!!
I doubt any other prem team comes anywhere near that

What's your thoughts on Keane Anfieldred ? For me it seems mad not playing him, he was slow to start scoring this season but then started banging them in and he is thenm on the bench all the time ?

At last an opposition supporter who can give credit to Stoke. Most of your fans on the boards I've read say we're dirty time wastersand the ref gave us everything :\. I'm glad you realise teams like Stoke are not here to lie down and die for the better sides.

I'd forgotten about that Amdy Faye moment, was brilliant. He was boxed in and left with no option but to dribble the ball, so did a Cruyff turn, a Gazza nutmeg and then thought "what the bloody hell am I doing, I'm Amdy Faye" - and played a mad pass to Etherington to cross it for him, and we immediately found ourselves on the halfway line.

Dont get me started on that cause i'll get all high pitched and started waving my arms around. We love Rafa right, but sometimes he he's a total flippin mentalist. You buy a striker, he has a shit start and his confidence is shot to pieces. As soon as he starts scoring and looking like a £20mill player he is dropped to the bench. Very Very Frustrating

O'Shea, Neville, Foster, Campbell on bench Man United and Stoke pretty much the best British teams.

Can't get my head around it. But i was glad he was sat on the bench yesterday though

I have to admit I thought he would have played up front yesterday, Kuyt up top by himself was weird. What do you think of Berbatov? Lot of Liverpool fans I know think he's been as bad as Keane.

I think that the view of common held liverpool view of Berbatov is wishful thinking really. I can imagine that once he gets the M** Un**** way of playing then he'll be awesome. F*cking miserable and greasy though. One up front yesterday is one of the strangest things ever. No disrespect to Stoke, but that's what i'd expect us to do against Juve/AC Milan et al in an away fixture in teh Champions league.

Did Rafa let Pulis pick his team? Playing Kuyt upfront on his own did us a favour as Abdoulaye and Shawcross are both good in the air, Torres and Keane would have caused us problems with their pace and agility. Thankyou Rafa.

Rafa does it a lot thoughd doesn't he. In all fairness yesterday if Alonso was fit the game might have been different. But same could be said for Sidibe and Fuller. Fuller is certainly a handful on his day.
Berbatov is showing signs of greatness. In all fairness that's whywe beat Stoke when he come on, a quick turn andwe've scored. I think (and hope) that's why we'll finish above you in the league this year. We have Berbs, Rooney and Ronaldo who can hopefully make a 0-0 to a 1-0, like we've been doing recently. You take Gerrrard out o the liverpool squad and it's very composed, and not much spark.

Pompey BETTERED Stoke? OK then, i thought their support was shit but you know.... I don't give a fuck who wins the title, i'd prefer Liverpool over Chelsea and ManUre, but having said that i'd prefer anyone over them(except Arsenal ) - so i'm hunting for Villa

everyone plays 451 when playing Stoke at the Brit
unlike WBA,Hull & Fulham surely Liverpool could have come out & try to attack,to dominate the game on the grounds that their players are better than ours?
instead Rafa worried about our set pieces & tried to nick the game
compare this with Fergie who finished the game on Boxing Day with 4 up top & Giggs at leftback .
no title for Liverpool until they learn to dominate games like yesterdays.
