Have to say that todays officials where very good, thought Lee Mason, the Referee had a very good game. Makes a change from the crap we have seen over the season. Great game, Stoke deserved the draw and with a bit of luck could have snatched all three points. Proud to be a potter down Worcester way. ;D Spot on mate, for once someone who wasnt taken in by all this falling about. The dodgy decisions had more to do with the linesman in fron of the JSL stand not calling them... I would give hime a solid 8/10 for yesterday From another Worcester way Potter

Would like him for our games regular. I thought he was even handed, and not pernickety.

Lee Mason has refereed us twice before this season - the home wins against Brazil and Spurs.
Like on the other two occasions he was very fair and consistant, top marks for an excellent referee.

Interesting opinions.
I thought he was good for us against Spurs and then awful against WBA, almost as though he was aware that he'd sent two Spurs players off and was making sure he couldn't be accused of bias towards Stoke. The fact that we won the game in the end has made us look at his performance a bit less critically.
Yesterday, though, he was OK, didn't seem taken in at all by L'pool players going down easily and because of that they didn't do it too much. Certainly my impression was that they are a much more 'honest' team than Man U were.
Kuyt's constant moaning to the ref about time wasting by Sorensen was annoying though. A football match is 90 minutes, Kuyt, if you can't score in an hour and a half whose fault is that?!
