Rather play with 10 men!? No way, i know he is rubbish but a an extra body is still something for the opposition to think about.

Who's fault?
I say other clubs for not letting us have players on loan or the FA having silly transfer windows. Not Tp's.

The only thing the opposition think when they see this beast lumbering around is, "God this guy's bloody awful. If he can play in the Premiership, then so can I."
I'm not solely blaming the Vincinerator for our defeat but when you get bullied by somebody 5/6 inches shorter than you (steady), it's pretty unforgivable.

The manager takes the plaudits when we do well and gets slated when we do bad. You can't have it one way!

Agreed - he is terrible and hopefully this will be the last time he plays for us again as TP should make some signings and sell that donkey to Leek Town!

If Pulis is going to take credit when we beat Arsenal and Villa then he is sure as hell gonna take criticism when we lose to Hartlepool.
Having said that, there were plenty of Stoke players starting today with a point to prove and irrespective of their manager's tactics, they should have played out their skins.
They didn't.
Manager AND players both to blame for what happened today.

I assume you're deliberately missing the point goldengus. a. Pulis signed Pericard b. Pulis picks Pericard c. Pulis has failed to sell/get rid of Pericard d. Pulis has failed (Kitson aside) to bring anyone in to replace Pericard (not difficult bearing in mind he has let Rooney & Patto go but retained Pericard)
I am not calling for Pulis to go and yes the players should take some of the blame but his selection policy is baffling at best and in the case of Pericard mind bogglingly incompetent.

The players get the plaudits i believe when we win (especially the goalscorer or MOTM) - and so they should take it on the chin when we lose (especially Vince the donkey)

Its the players faults. Yes TP bought in Pericard but he also bought in Ric when he was shit and he didnt turn out to bad did he ? You have to gamble which is what TP has done when he bought alot of players. Pericard has never come good, the reason he is still here? No body wants him, so what else can we do? He was the only striker so had to play! Them players that went out there should have come away winners, lets face it, bar pericard that is a top championship team we had out there. All of you crying for weeks saying how you want soares and tongue on the wings with whelan in the middle are you happy now? It doesnt work. Lets be grateful he did it against these minnows and we only lost 2 - 0 instead of against liverpool and us lose 8 - 0 ? Clearly none of them could be arsed, its done with now lets hope they ALL up there performances against liverpool and remember WE ARE PREMIER LEAGUE let hartlepool have there glory today, they deserved it.
IN TP WE TRUST!
PEACE

For Gawds sake though the path to the river is worn out from dragging that old donkey down there time and time again. EVERYBODY other than Pulis can see he is crap.

So goldengus you personally wouldn't give Pulis any credit for the wins over Arsenal and Villa?

I think he does see and if we sign 2 strikers this window then, hopefully, Vince wont play for us again.

So goldengus you personally wouldn't give Pulis any credit for the wins over Arsenal and Villa? I would partly, and he is partly to blame for today BUT the majority falls on the players playing the game.

Read foxxys point above.
TP has made good signings and because we lose today everyone looks at the negatives. If we had a fully fit Liam, Kitson and Fuller and Mama played we would of been a differant team. TP signed all these players and more. He makes quality signings 80% of the time.

Pericard is probly one of the worst players I have ever seen, he is that bad. I think the only reason he is still at the club is cos no1 would buy him. and the only reason he is playing now is because of injuries and the fact Pulis didn't camara which I think he expected to happen. yeah he shouldn't have brought him in but tell me any manager who hasn't dropped a clanger in the transfer market? Hopefully Camara will sign in Jan, Mama gets fit and then Pericard won't be seen again in the shirt
