I've seen no reports of the incident detailing exactly what happened only that there was an incident - and a DJ lost a tooth. Maybe I am missing something, but what are the chances that the DJ is an Everton fan who was giving him grief and got a slap for it? Or that the other fan involved was a pissed up mouthy sop (what are the chances of that in Liverpool?)
Sounds like a lot of (drunken) handbags to me - especially at 2:30am. I would think that the only reason the police are involved is because the supposed victim is after "compensation" a la Jordy Chandler (WackoJackos alleged bitch).
If Gerrard is indeed the instigator then of course he deserves punishment, I am just highly sceptical. There seems to be more in this though....

We will probably not know the full details until it's all over, but if he is guilty he should be sent down for 3 months, stripped of his MBE and banned from playing for England.
