Beam-Back Go Ahead Posted on: Tue 15 Jan 2008 Stoke City are delighted to announce that a live beam-back of the FA Cup Fourth round replay at Newcastle United has been given the green light.
The Club have worked tirelessly over the past week to give supporters unable to travel the chance to watch the game direct from Delilah's Bar.
Having now been given permission by all parties concerned the full match will be broadcast live, via the big screen, and will also feature BBC commentary to give it a 'Match of the Day' feel. Delilah's is the only place, apart from St James' Park, to watch the game so don't miss out.
There are 600 spaces available for the event priced at £10. Included in the price will be a delicious pre-match dinner of pie, chips, peas and gravy.
Tickets will be served on a strictly first come first served basis and will be on sale until 5:30pm today, and from 9am until 5:30pm on Wednesday from the Britannia Stadium ticket office.
Chief Executive Tony Scholes admits he is delighted to give supporters the chance to watch the game in our supporters bar.
"Everybody at the football club has worked extremely hard to make the event possible. We are fully aware that it is a midweek game, and many people will be working and not able to attend St James' Park.
"Delilah's is going from strength to strength, having gone through an extensive refurbishment in the summer changes were made to the programme including bringing in a passionate host, the Potters Quiz and an all round better matchday experience.
"We want this to be the first of many events to take place in Delilah's Bar and give the supporters of this football club their own true supporters bar."

I wouldn't think a big screen would be worth it, for the cost, you would need around 1,000 fans paying a tenner I recon at least to suplemt the cost
Thats just a guess like
