10.
I know, it's me, but he did everything I've been imploring him to do today. Given the paucity of attacking options, Cresswell was immense and Pulis did nothing wrong at all.
Please do this more often and I'll shut up.
If we get relegated but play as though we mean it and give 100% of our ability, there will be no complaints from me at all. We played as well as we possibly could and were robbed by an appalling referee who saw everything we did and nothing they did.
10/10 - first class.
Bloody typos!

Pulis did a great job, kept 'em focused but the Bloody ref lost control of the game and then it fell appart. Pulis 8 - 10. lets have a whip round to get Ricky new boots...LOL

9-would have been 10 bar 1 big thing-the result and one little thing-not bringing Lawrence on for a little run out to get some fitness.
Today showed we can play without Mama, we got let down by the ref, a rash tackle and Fullers bloody boot laces!
Superb commitment, desire, and they all worked bloody hard. They were a credit to us, themselves and the manager.

9.5, losing 0.5 of a mark for not bringing Lawrence on.
When Wilko got sent off, and Davies was getting ready to come on, at first I thought it was Lawrence, and said to the guy next to me what a great call by Pulis, being ultra positive, but then realised it was Davies! BUGGER! Other than that, a great performance by the lads, making me all the more frustrated thinking why can't they be up like that in other games?

Good call on Lawrence but I think a defender was needed if Lawrence would have made a mistake in a comeback in a game of that magnitide, it would have been a real downer for Liam and TP.

8. Top day for the gaffer, following the terrible game he had at Blackburn last Saturday.
Got the team selection spot on, the sub after the red card was also bang on. He had the team fired up, and for the first time since the Arsenal, we ruffled a few feathers.
More of the same at Upton Park on Sunday.

As i were goin' for a piss after Wilko had just got sent off, some chap i overheard said 'dunna worry lads, they conna beat stoke reserves 11, let alone stoke reserves 10'
So takin' into consideration Griff', Mama and Liam (to name three 'big players for us, not including Kits like') weren't fit/available i thought TP did a great job in motivation and the like and the players worked their arses off for the cause
This match were played against arguably the best team in world football
I'm, as always proud to be a potter :-)

9/10 I'm not TP's biggest fan but today we were fired up and with improved team selection we did really well. The loss can only be put down to Fergusons superstitions, he's a firm believer in at least 1 on his team wear black and carry a whistle.

7- only gripe i got with him is the substitutions...
First sub needed to be made, and was right to bring Davies on, but think taking Delap off was wrong, there were still 18minute left, where with 10 men our best option to score would be from a set piece and/or trow in.
So ok he kept with Creswell, who ISN'T UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES a left winger. I then would have liked to see Lawrence or Tonge given ten minutes. not Periwinkle and seyi in the 9oth minute.

7 from me, strange subs, Wilko didnt help him really though, forcing him to take Rory off but i would of prefered Sonko, or to have a go with 3 at the back as we were on top for that period of the match, He took off what was our main weapon and that had United dropping bricks, then the huge sigh of relief when Rory went off from all the United fans and players etc. Would of loved to see Lawrence get a run out.

8.5, learned from his recent cock ups of square pegs and round holes (will it last) but would have liked to see Lawrence come on right mid instead of Cresswell moving there. Should have got somebody to have a word with Wilkinson earlier, or changed him it was obvious he was going to get himself sent off.

8 - Pulis can hardly be blamed for a cowardly referee performance. But, they had moved thedivingcheat onto Wilko with the sole purpose of exploiting his yellow card. We should have subbed him.
Even Am Faye looked like a footballer.

Are we all blind at the fact that Pulis did not change any tattics when we went down to 10 men and that he made a double substitution with only 2 minutes to go when we were one nil down!! Wake up you Stokies, we are one dimensional whoever plays on the field and thats only down to one person TP. Players gave 100% and we still lost - it's a pity the same players did not turn up at Blackburn and then maybe we would have got a result. All that said, lets get a gud following at West Ham tomorrow and hopefully the same team that turned up for Man Utd will be there and we may get a result....i'll be there......come on stoke

I'd say that on this occasion his tactics were pretty sound. We could not have really gone 3 at the back when wilko went off, as we'd get destroyed, and moving one of the fowards back to cover the middle seemed the sensible option.

1.
He didn't chant 'Wanker' enough to get a high mark.
Only real clever people chant stupid things. He doesn't show enough aggression for my liking.
After all, this is a rough, common sport for rough, common people.
TP just isn't 'council estate' enough for my liking.
