Football Manager 2007 and 2008 . He would have no problems renewing his work permit for stoke : FACT do you think Jamaica were consistently in the top 70 when he signed for us ? So you are basing your knowledge on a computer game - Brilliant, If thats the case in 2013 Stoke are going to be in the champions league beating Real madrid 6-1 in the final with Tom Thorely netting a hatrtick. Yes I do think Jamaica were in the top 70 reguaraly when he signed for us. He can renew it for the same team, as there was no problems when he renewed his CURRENT contract.

I'm basing it on the work permit system on there, where if he a player had played 75% of the games for his current club, he never had a problem when he transfered

I think the work permit issue is a red herring.
I doubt he'd get one automatically, as Jamaica haven't been in the top 75, when averaged over the past 2 years, even though they've sneaked in, in the Dec08 rankings
But surely he's get one without any doubt at all on appeal, due to his record in English football.
Much more of a factor would surely be that no team would ever make us an offer we couldn't refuse for a 29-year-old under contract until 2011, due to his uninsurable knees and the fact that Redknapp admitted "he'd never pass a conventional medical".
As well as the fact that Pulis considering selling him would be a fatal nail in our relegation coffin and a turkey voting for Christmas.

Everton are in desperate need of a striker, they might see fuller as a good option till the end of the season, .... I really can't see it though, no way we'd sell him and didn't he sign a contract extension not so long back? .

How the fuck has he got work permit issues ? Played over 75% of our games : check played over 75% of jamaica's internationals in last 2 years : check Jamaica now in top 75 in fifa rankings : check and eligible for Uk citizenship, as has been here over 5 years : CHECK now please explain to me how in the name of santas whispy beard has he got work permit issues ? He hasn't. I forgot about Jamaica moving up the rankings. Sorry and dohhh Why the aggression? Is it because you are hiding behind your PC/laptop? I doubt you would display that much aggression to people's faces over a simple debate. SGS

When it comes down to work permits, I believe the system is basically, once a player has one, providing he submits paper work before its expiration date he will be able to get it extended. Wasn't there a case in the lower leagues a few years back where a player didn't do it, and when he tried to get a new permit for the club he signed for he couldnt get one, but if he had applied before there wouldn't have been a problem.

No way Fuller will be off. That would be the mother of all football suicides - so obvious that even TP will see it. Unless RF need to be offloaded so that TP can get a new defender in.

I'd be amazed if Fuller left us at this moment in his career!
He's a regular starter in the Prem, he's being picked Nationally, he's got a sound contract, his manager blows up his arse at every opportunity....
The last thing that I would want is for Fuller to leave. But, if he does - that's his problem!

Well once i stopped laughing at the thought we would even consider selling him i started thinking about how dull we'd be if he did leave. He's the only one we have that is worth watching and that's only about 1 game in 3. Please let me be right

i wouldnt be happy with:
a) no fuller to keep us up
b) 4 million, i think he's worth more than that even though he is 29.

If he sticks with Stoke he could be playing regular top flight football for the next 3 years or so (if we can stay up this season), leaves I would imagine he will be playing reserve team football with Everton by the start of next season and be transferred to some championship club next January

I have said for a long time that TP doesn't like Fuller, I know a lot of people don't believe me but EVERY single time he gets a chance to drop him he does! He dropped him for Ameobi! and he dropped for Kitson! He dropped him for Cresswell at Newcastle FFS! But Tony does know that he is the ONLY player in our squad who gives us a chance of scoring goals! So he would have to be a complete idiot to sell him in January although if we got Harewood it might happen But if we go down in the summer he will be gone. I know people hope that he might not get a work permit or his injury record would go against him. But he has played in England for many years and now has had two and half years at stoke with few injury problems and is a proven Premiership goal scorer! Thing is if we go down I think we could struggle in the Championship without him! We are a one man team

nope! Don't believe it. Fuller wouldn't go to Everton, would only get played when other strikers are injured. He gets stroppy when Pulis drops him for one game.

Fuller's help comes from the Mama role. Fuller has gone on record a number of times saying how much he enjoys the support of Mama. If we are looking at another lone striker, I hope it is because Ric is getting closer to another suspension, not because he is on his way out.
