we miss his corners... other than that id say we havent really missed him! If you dont think we have missed lawrence you are an idiot. He is the only player we have who is capable of whipping in a decent cross, he created 15 assists last season and scored 15 goals, yes thats 30 of our goals that have come from him being in the team. We have badly missed him this year and was only getting back to full fitness before he tripped over his dog. Give him 4 or 5 games in the team and he will be back to his very best.

yes... cuz he really set the team alight during the games he has played this year. other than the assist in the Villa game what else has he done? im an idiot for having an opinion!? ;D

this is not a rumour, just a feeling, i can't help but think he will be gone in January, nothing stacks up with his injury, his return to training etc, i'm sure he's not being played so he does'nt fit into the squad and we get used to his input again and therefore we have to chnge again when he goes in Jan. Really hope i'm proved wrong but i have this feeling.

He had a big operation last summer and didnt get a proper pre-season behind him, if you ask any professional footballer they will tell you without a full pre-season you will struggle for a while. I suppose your happy with Pugh, Olifinjana or Delap on the wing are you? Like i said idiot.

Lawrence is one of the first names on Pulis teamsheet when he is fit.

gary's right id rather have liam on the wing than any other stoke player. just give him a few reserve games and first team games and he'll be back and adapt to the league like every other player has.

Soares is rubbish on the wing he cant cross a ball, put him in the middle yes.
I agree about Tonge he should be on the left with Lawrence on the right until we have better options.

When he played at the start of the season he had just come back from a fairly serious groin operation, he hardly had no pre- season and was nowhere near 100% fit. He was one of the only decent players in the Sunderland team that got relegated that season so like i say give the bloke a break because without him in the team we create nothing.

www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11661_4657085,00.html The Sky Sports article hints that he's got a chance for the weekend.. But is there any realistic chance of a sub role? The recent noises have been pretty pessimistic, and it's all gone very quiet on his progress, with what mentions there have been not hinting at rapid return, even though the initial diagnosis had him coming back before Christmas? How long has he been back in full training?

He has been back in training for 2 weeks, i think its more likely he will be on the bench for the Man U game.

other than the assist in the Villa game what else has he done? Put that mad cross over for the equaliser at Boro. In the corridor of uncertainty between the keeper and six yard box. He's got a quality right peg

What I find laughable is GaryHackett calling anyone an idiot.
Bear in mind that this is the cockend who claims to have inside knowledge about potential signings .. only to be found out to be a clueless nobber later on.
Priceless.

God knows, good news though as it seems to have been forever since he got injured. If he is ruled fit to play on Saturday, i'd guess for a bench start, and he'll come on probably for the last 10-15 minutes get a bit of first team football under his belt like
