i have messaged john acres on facebook, have asked him to try to get some sort of a comment from Scholes on Radio Stoke to explain from his point of view how it has come about that we were having 7,000 and now so suddenly we aren't

I was going to get my tickets today (along with West Ham). I popped down last thing yesterday afternoon instead, for some reason. I'm glad I did. The tickets are all on different rows, but at least I managed to get them.
It's nothing short of a disgrace.

If it's got anything whatever to do with Newcastle last week, it isn't a reason, but an excuse. The 27 arrested weren't at the match and, presumably, didn't have tickets, so it's irrelevant to our ticket allocations. (And nigh on 5,000 is hardly restrictive in the sense of weeding out trouble-makers.)

This isnt our fault but with at least 1000 going in the Blackburn end and with protests going on we may well make the police look like clever dicks in the eys of the media. Were treated like fucking animals!!

Absolutely disgraced, was in no rush to buy tickets because we had so many.
If something can't be resolved I'll be in the Blackburn End.
Everyone calling the Lancashire police number sounds a good option to me!

if anyone intrested i just found out the guy you need to speak to is - superintendant Bithell (not sure if spelt his name correct) he is apparently the man we need to get into....0125451212 is the main number but i think the problem will be getting them to put you through to him. But if we all get on it shorly we should get some kind of response

lets face the facts here, becuase everyone else know the real reason thyv prevented the full allocation from being sold. n it is to do with the stoke fans, but in tht we r so loyal an passionate tht if we take 7000 thn wel almost match the blackburn fans in number, but massively outnumber thm in our voices, if we had 7000 fans at the blackburn game thn blackburn will lose, the fans will inject passion n belief into the team, n wel b very happy tht evenning. blackburn have blocked the 7000 tickets so tht thy have a greater chance of victory, n its gt fuck all to do with the fans behaviour.

not 100% if i should be posting this on here but i dont suppose it matters too much
Anyway just been speaking to John Alcock about something else and asked about Blackburn
He says Scholes, himself and the club are fuming, he basically said all yesterday Scholes was phoning and e-mailing Lancs police, Staffs police and also Greater mancs police and from what he was saying it was GMP that got in contact with Lans police and advised them to give us as few as possible, by this time though they had already sent the 4,700 GMP advised we should have fewer than this. He said it is really annoying that GMP are giving the club a bad name. John also said like we have it is very unfair that other clubs have had the 7,000 and we aren't
im going to put this on a few different Blackburn threads to make sure it gets seen rather than starting yet another 1!

GMP really are tossers what would really teach them a lesson is if the 2,300 who can't now get tickets decided to peacefully demonstrate somewhere in GMP land let them try and organise coaches for 2,000+ fans to section 27 them.

Well I must say, it's very thoughtful of the GMP to share their "intelligence" about Stoke fans with their colleagues in Lancashire.
I'm just trying to figure out why they weren't so accomodating to their colleagues in the north east last week.
I'm assuming they know everything about the activities of people from Stoke-on-Trent to stick their noses about our trip to Blackburn, so it was bit naughty not to give their Geordie chums the heads up about what was obviously going to happen last week.

What i cant get my head around is what have we ever done to GMP for them to be taking this sort of a stance with us or if there has been any trouble in there area it must of been quite a few years ago and they treated us like shit at man city and that was when we had ID cards !

They clearly still hold a grudge against Stoke fans for what went on at Wigan in February 2000 among other things.

Wouldnt suprise me if ever other Police Force in the country is well aware of GMP & their over zealous approach. Imagine what the wonderful West Mids Police will be like for Villa away?
