Went in today to buy a gift voucher as a xmas present, i paid my money and stood there waiting for what felt like an eternity (5 minutes ) The girl then came back to me and said they had no gift voucher wallets so she has had to put it in an envelope - ok i thought i can buy one of those xmas envelope things to give it in. I then opened the envelope to check my voucher and i saw a blank match day ticket with the girls handwriting on it saying - £15 gift voucher, her signature and the date - i said what's this? She looked at me and said the machine isnt working so i've wrote it! I said i'm not giving that as a present for xmas - so she went off and spoke to some youth and came back and said i will have bring it back in in a couple of days to get it replaced when the printer is working! SCFC club shop - like my arse!

I've noticed it before that the people who work in tha shop are brain dead. Your'e not wrong there. Went in today after getting Blackburn tickets hoping to get one of those thick coats for the little un. Couldn't see any hanging up but there was boxloads of stuff by the doors (looks like they've had a big delivery in). I noticed one of the boxes had childs coats stamped on it. Asked the girl at the counter if there was any in & she said no and they weren't expecting any. I asked her if any of the boxes had them in. When she mumbled no I said i'd show her the bloody box. She then said they weren't the shops but mail ordered items. Yeah, ok then Bought a few of bits n pieces, stood there waiting for them to be put into a bag before realising the girl wasn't even going to bother to do it. Lost my rag a little then and said "I can see you're incredibly busy helpfully serving all these people but do you think you could spare me a couple of seconds of your precious time to put my things in a bag?" I was the only fucker in there at the time. It really was shocking service

The Mrs & Ma-in-Law went down the Brit shop last week when some stuff was delivered. After asking for a certain item (can't say what cuz our lad might read this), & being told that there was no stock & no more were coming in, the Ma-in-Law pointed at an open box & said, "thats what i want to buy, would you mind selling me one"? Bleedin' useless!

Sometimes you'd rather contact AIDS than deal with the staff at Stoke. Over the years I've found them less than average at best.
They may be on minimum wage like a lot of others but clearly havent got the nouse to realise that it could get a lot worse.

I haven't got or ever had any specific problems but when I go in to have a quick look round, and I've been in at various times of the year, the choice is massively underwhelming The shop should be two or three times its current size and frankly the selection of goods on offer should be ten fold (at least) what it ever has been.

Really the amount of complaints you read on here about the club shops (especially the one at the Britt) you would have thought something would have been done about it before now,the attitude of some of the staff, the lack of stock, the disorganised chaos that seems to exist when there are more than a couple of customers,I could go on, but the club is losing loads of revenue and good will and it really does need sorting out.

we need a suggestion box... its always easy to criticise but what suggestions do weall have to improve the service? (without being bitchy!)

(without being bitchy!)[/quote Its not really rocket science. An occasional smile ,giving the impression that they are interested ,looking for customers rather than making it seem like a chore serving you. For a start I suggest they study the staff at Marks&Spencers.

Anyone know if there is an Away shirts in stock currently? planning on getting one for christmas through SCFC Direct, can see it proving more trouble thats it worth though I near enough always phone up for my tickets, and they are delivered within 24 hours, excellent service, it just seems the basics are the stumbling blocks for the club shop and the ticket office.

Yeah same here with the shop. Been waiting 2 months for new stock to come in. Apart from perhaps the start of the season Christmas would be the busiest time of year, yet no new stock for months. It can't be rocket science to place an order for Christmas, it comes around the same time every year ffs. None at The Brit, none in Hanley, none online. Have they not heard there is a recession and people are fighting for business, yet these muppets seemingly can't be arsed. I just don't understand it. Plenty of Vale shirts down at Poundstretchers as part of a car cleaning kit though. Seriously you would have thought the club would need the revenue??

there have been shirts in today, so they did have an order before christmas! at the end of the day though, the shirts went on sale in July (i think) so there has been plenty of time to get one before now! Is it the clubs fault for not having any shirts left or the individuals fault for leaving it to the last minute only to find there are none left (after 20,000 have been sold!) just playing devils advocate like.

i went on SC direct a month ago... and apparently the only home shirts were in Small and XXXL. i mean come on, thats just bad practice so close to christmas. typical stoke city turning their back on good money. maybe i should lose some weight, and go down from a large to a small... that will probably happen before they get new stock in

Actually it is the clubs fault. To date I have not recieved a reply to my formal and polite complaint to Tony scholes for issues that affected me. I even commented on the good service my a certain individual. The Retail manager should be fired by now for the mis management of stock control and variety of stock. This is the a key year in the financial income and strengthening of the Stoke City Brand, but the idiot in charge has no pre-emptive thought process at all when it comes to this. Even with the delay during the summer months for the new Premiership stock. the retail manager SHOULD have provided more detailed stock analysis and projection... but he didn't...... and therefore should be fired. This is not only financially damaging to Stoke now... but also for future income due to poor levels of service and stock and the experiences this has brought about onto customers. But from someone who is rude and arrogant to the Bar staff in Harvesters (across from the Stadium) without even a please or thank you..... Scholes does not surprise me
