The atmosphere is hardly that impressive - they have all the atmospheric advantages of a stadium with heritage and tradition, from back when football was in touch with its fans. Our noisy home support is so impressive entirely because we've managed to create it in a sanitised identi-kit stadium - where every single other team in the country with a new or redesigned stadium has failed.

Maldini is the Best Defender Ever.... He is my fave player of all time, his only equal is the Mighty Steino.......... And Italians are great What about John Charles? He was a taff, but he was alright by all accounts. He did play for Juventus though.

Maldini every time - Legend... I sat in "his" seat and everything As far as I am aware Maldini has never palyed up-top like Charles. John Charles has played in both positions. If anyone can prove me wrong I would be happy to take back my previous comment.

I love Italians. Margherita with Jalapenos, yes please! I'm pretty sure Margarita's are Spanish too

I think we're all missing the most controversial issue about that match last night. The Milan fans (and many Pompey) were clearly standing all through the game. I'm outraged.

Cracking atmosphere for the whole 90 mins!
The atmosphere at the Britannia has been on par with that this season, in bursts, there are too many quiet moments at home games!

You've got to feel sorry for Pompey. So close to victory but, before the match, I'm sure they would have been delighted with a point. AC Milan's bench was absolutely ridiculous-
Kalac, Kaladze, Pirlo, Bonera, Seedorf, Pato, Ronaldinho.
