Encouraging results at home so far. Is it so outrageous to believe that we could actually give another team who're on an off-day a tonking this season - say 3-0 or more? If so, who dya reckon?

Middlesborough if they have one of those days they have.

If 'they' have an off day then i'd say Fulham or if 'Titus' has a bad day then i'd say Wigan.

Yes, with a full strength side out I can see us giving a tonking at home to a bottom half side. To be honest we should have beaten Spurs and Sunderland by bigger margins. If Tonge can bild on yesterday's promise and if Lawrence can return fit and on form then I'd hope a tonking won't be too long in arriving - and then, of course, we hope to strengthen in January!

I think had fuller played yesterday we'd have beaten wba by 3 or 4, I really do think he would have had a field day. Agree, the spurs game could easily have been 4 or 5 if we had better finishing and a little more luck, I fancy west ham are ripe for a hammering (no pun intended ).

Derby strikes me as a good bet to be on the receiving end in the Cup match.

I have a good feeling about the Hull game, as i did with the Arsenal game.

I think we may be able to 'Tonk' Hull at home and also might be able to give a good 'tonking' to the mighty Man City at Home...

No, not this season
not being negative, very proud of what we've achieved this season but every game( apart from WBA yesterday when we had super Ric missing)is hard and I think we'll just about survive

Arsenal schoolboys in the League Cup Final. Five throws, five goals. ill go for that. 40,000+ stokies going nuts at wemberley they will shit it. we'll probs still get slated for not playing proper football. wenger would cry on the pitch and refuse to go home.

Yes that's my dream. Wenger having a Delap induced breakdown at half time, and coming out wearing the tea-ladies tabbard and a pair of slippers.

Our last league victory by more than one goal was Wolves away in Feb (nearly 30 games ago)... can't see us winning any by 3 or more this season.

don't think its going to happen, yesterday was our chance.
really was clear what we missed yesterday, RICARDO FULLER
especially with the midfield we had as well, we lacked any real creativty until Tonge came on.
when he came on, obviously its hard to complain because we won, i think he should have kept soares on and brought off faye or Diao instead

Possibly Derby - either that or they will tonk us!!! Don't care if we don't tonk anyone all season as long as we do enough to get the points on the board and stay in the prem.

L.dog. Soares was woeful Satdee. Poor crossing and never beat his man. But I do rate him, just think he had an off day to be honest.

Maybe, just maybe, Hull on Saturday. Mama will be buzzing after Brazil, and Ric will be fresh after a week's rest. Fuller hasn't scored in 4 weeks and this is a big game. 4-1, Stoke.

Maybe, with Ricci and AN Other firing up front and a demoralised team nearer the end of the season, but not sure I can see it. We could badly do with a couple of 3-0 or 4-1s though to help the GD, that's already starting to worry me. We can't afford it to get any worse.
