In the reserves when he is banned. I thought he was not allowed but remember when he had that 4 game ban and he played in the reserves if i remember correctly.
He might be unfit if he dosen't play coz he ain't got a game for about 4-5 weeks!!!

Ferdinand cant play footy whatsoever,not even for a sunday team (officially) while he is banned

The only way he can play is as a ringer, and if the opposition notice, dont you think they might just put a complaint in?

I think it all depends what a player is banned for as to whether or not they can play for the reserves.
John Eustace might be able to play for the reserves because his suspension is for accumulated bookings whereas Marcus Hall can't because his suspension is because of a red card.
Visit the Football League website (www.football-league.co.uk), click "referees" and then "suspensions" and you might get a better idea.
Super John's suspension isn't listed yet, but give it a day or two...

Well Rex that makes it all as clear as mud! ;D Half the players seem to be banned from all football and the other half from 1st team football! Is their any logic involved or do they just pick different colour balls out of a bag to decide? |

Look closer at the suspensions, it backs up Davef's post that a totting up of cautions they are only suspended for 1st team games.
But bans issued for Red cards is a ban from all football
So JE can play in the reserve games to keep fit

Both players have bans for being sent off, yet, 1 is banned from all football and the other from 1st team! ??? ??? ??? Still think they draw lots! ;D ;D Seriously, it seems that a Red Card for 2 bookable offences only seems to get you banned from 1st team football, which presumably, therefore, means that Marcus Hall could also play in the Reserves? |
