He was my MOTM vs Sunderland, and again against Arsenal - Salif has been fantastic in the last two games, back to his very best. Always seems to be in the right place at the right time to break up the play, is a fantastic calming influence on the rest of the side, and miss-placed only one pass yesterday as far as I can remember.
Praise also to the much-maligned Olofinjana (I myself wasn't sure what he was bringing to the team until his Sunderland performance) - he was clearly not enjoying playing out of position yesterday, but put in an excellent shift in unfamiliar territory.
Amdy Faye also displayed some promise going forward - what an almost excellent through ball to Fuller in the second half!
Long may it continue!

I'm very impressed with Salif this season, I think he's finally fit for us, he's been getting better and better with every match, and he has one good long shot on target every match, eventually one will fly in.
Seyi's been good the last few matches, I'd like to see him played slightly higher, at Wolves he was often played as a second striker so I'd like to see his attacking side a bit more.

Yes they were both excelent yesterday, but as the Wolves fans said about Seyi, 1 good game in 4. Still, hopefully he will become more consistent as when he is playing well he is a real asset to the team and has a good partnership with Salif

They are forming a formidable partnership in the middle of the park and will get better the more they play together. Diao is showing everyone that he is premier class and I think what he does for the team goes un-noticed by quite a few.

Its all about playing more games, every player needs a run in the side to show their best and do it consistantly. Agreed they are both getting better each match which is great for us. I moaned yesterday when I heard the team, no Soares and Amdy Faye in and I slaughtered Pulis to my mates for being negative. I should have known better than to question the great man!!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D Well done TP and the lads.

How things can change in a week!
Everyone on here was saying how the Diao/ Olifinjana partnership was non existant after the Man City game...there are some very fickle people on here.
