To label these two as 'comedians' is stretching things slightly, although after this latest attempt to be 'funny' I'd have to agree with some of the broadsheet columnists who have suggested that they both be sacked after that ridiculous, outrageous and disgraceful stunt they pulled on Andrew Sachs... For those who are not aware, they made suggestive remarks on his answering machine regarding his grand daughter claiming that one of them had slept with her.To do this to a 78 year old legendary comedy actor is nothing short of appalling and both in my opinion are so far stuck up their own arses they need to be taught a lesson.SACK THE BLOODY PAIR OF THEM... If that ponce Bwand thinks poncing around with a womans hair-do and black eye-liner is funny, along with his nauseating bisexual frollicks, then it's a bloody sick world we live in. They have both risen far beyond their remit , and I hope they are both sued .This once again proves how bloody ridiculous it is to pay the likes of Woss the £ 15 million he receives from us the British licence payer...An absolute bloody disgrace.

Dont rate Brand, but Ross is very very funny on R2 on Saturday mornings.
bit of a blow, but you have to blame the editors for putting this out

I think this is more Russell Brand's 'humour' than Ross's.Brand is about as funny as skining your cock then dipping it in salt. Absolutely no excuse.Andrew Sachs talent pisses on both of them

I never used to like Russel Brand, mainly because I'd not really heard any of his material and my opinion was based on him looking a bit of a knob. Then I downloaded his podcast one day and found myself laughing. His radio show is consistently funny and his stooge isn't as annoying as Ross's... his (Brand's) articles on football in the Guardian are usually very good too. Never judge a book...

I've seen his standup and it's dire. He generally is just spitting at front row people whilst talking in a wimsical manner. Not funny just crap. Jonathon Ross is great for his age and most of what he does, he says it on the spot too. Great show of his but Brrrrand is just utter gash.

Exactly.
most complaints have come from people who had no idea what was going on, but see this as a perfect opportunity to get rid of Ross & Brand (and there are many) and replace with with good, wholesome entertainers. Like Jimmy Tarbuck.
Don't fall for this right-wing nonsense. This was over the top, but it was fucking funny. And before you start feeling that sorry for the girl in question, this particular wallflower is currently touring Europe as "Voluptua" in a burlesque group called "The Satanic Sluts". She's apparently so upset that she's flying back immediately, no doubt to a huge exclusive with the Daily Star.
it's a storm in a teacup that is being overblown by people with hidden agendas.

I listen to radio 2....But I mainly listen to the shipping forecast as I'm looking after my brother in laws narrow boat moored on the Trent and Misery canal.
I saw the offensive clip too....They're both a pair of shitbags. Woss gets £18 million a year.
I was disgusted.

Wouldn't be a great loss if they both disappeared from our screens, but Jonathan Ross has made a career out of being vulgar and generally unfunny, so what's the big deal about this particular incident ? I don't mind vulgarity, so long as it's actually funny, That Brand guy is annoying more than anything else, and sounds as if he is probably powdered up in that clip.
You could sack them, but they would probably just sprout up on another channel somewhere, and I doubt they'll sack Ross, the sacred cow of the BBC. Should have canned him a long time ago, his shtick is very much old hat now anyway.

Having listened to it, all i can think is: Big Overeaction. Bit of a wank thing to do to an old timer, but as far as the lass is concerned, all they really said about her was that she'd shagged brand*, and that was it, nothing really derogatory.

These pair are as funny as Ant and Dec, Who as it happens are not funny at all, The twat Ross gets 18 million a year of tax payers hard earned, now thats funny. Might slip them in my dead pool team as reserves in case any of the first XI cark it.

I haven't heard the show, but if the Daily Mail and The Sun are resorting to whipping the nation's reactionary ***** up into a right old tizz about it then I would imagine the original incident has been exagerated somewhat.
Personally I think Brand is a comic genius...I've watched a fair bit of his stand-up, and usually end up laughing my sack off. He does go a bit far sometimes, but that's the nature of any performer with a bit of edge...occasionally he'll overstep the mark. However, that's surely the jobs of programme editors and producers to ensure they trim out anything that's a bit too unsavoury to be broadcast?
