Or perhaps I should say lack of investment in the next transfer window. The major concerns would be Fuller,Cresswell,Lawrence and Shawxross, which is why I hope and pray that we can still bring in more quality. It is most imperative to strengthen the squad to maintain our push for automatic promotion which I believe is well within our grasp. Pulis has restored the feelgood factor which many of his detractors from the 'Darkside' have said he was not capable of achieving. He has now firmly answered his critics in the best way possible and I for one, have never doubted him for one minute. We all need to now get behind him and the team, and show him our appreciation. Well done Tony....and the boys.!!!

Its clear we need to improve a few things. As you know, its been my hunch for a while that tone struggles to attract new players. Hopefully our healthy placing in the league will make that task easier. The point has to be made though that we have had a great first half of the season. Great result for your lot at Watford mumf. You must be ecstatic after a result like that.

Joe...If you are referring to Plymumf, well I am more than glad that Peter Coates could see in Pulis what I saw on that fateful day when Pulis avenged his disgraceful sacking by that idiot Icelandic chairman. More and more are 'coming out' of the 'Darkside' to enjoy and embrace the pleasures of Mumf's messiah...
Don't forget...he came back to save us and to lead us into 'THE PROMISED' land as I knew he would.
Ahmen.

Er, hang on mate its December! Nothings guaranteed.
I also thought the circumstances behind the sacking were harsh but to 'rejoice' in a Stoke defeat? Can't be done.

It can... it was....and if one has the mental capacity to realise why,.. then one can understand that it was a small price to pay if the ultimate goal/prize is promotion. I don't remember a time before or since, when such an ocurrence has evoked a more justifiable outcome given the circumstances. Perhaps some of the 'Darkside' need to take a closer look in their linen basket before they dare to attempt to criticize me... It is a sad reflection of the tactics used many times by followers of the 'Darkside' who seem to think that Pulis is rubbish.......Well at least they used to.!!!

errm mumf. Does the phrase "the pot calling the kettle black" mean anything to you?????
Your concerns about a lack of investment are completely unfounded though. Even the messiah has admitted on a number of occasions that he has the funds if he chooses to spend them. Perhaps you should re-word your thread to read "unwise spending in the next transfer window" or "refusal to spend on the right players" or "inability to attract players" or "unable to attract that silly Bobby Zamora."
Lets see what happens in January and where we then "push on" to. In the meantime, why not enjoy our current success without the snipeing?

Mumf is not a Stoke Fan , he's a fucking disgrace. Anyone who wants Stoke to lose against any club is a fucking disgrace, regardless of whether they think their excuse is valid or not.

i believe cort is becoming more valuable as each game goes by, fantastic signing by t.p!! His goals will prove invaluable. His defending isn't always inspiring - though is forging an improving partnership with Ryan.
