Who could ever forget OldStokies post on Bristol City's Board after that Bristol fan died...(when we were on the old Oatcake Board).. It was one of the finest posts I've ever read And despite posting some top quality comments in a really even-handed manner (unlike me for example) OldStokie is on ZERO karma.. I ask all of you..Is this the way to treat a frail, old gentlemen, who has fought two World Wars for his Country, and freed us all from oppression? If there is any justice in this world OldStokie..you're karma should rise like the proverbial rat climbing up the drainpipe Come on Oatcake posters..give OldStokie some positive karma

You would have to read it yourself..but it was quite personal and very moving..and everyone who read it (from all different clubs) agreed

It was a wonderful post but I think you probably had to be there, just one of those moments where one person captures what's in everyone's hearts and expresses it perfectly.
The only problem with OS is I'd like to see him around here more, when he comes back and sticks around it's a sign of Oatie health, like fish coming back to a polluted river to breed ;D

So you're saying he smells of fish? ;D

Don't ruin it frazier..you knobbled OldStokie yesterday Just as the owd-fella was getting back on his feet...he got knocked down again Great analogy about fish returning to polluted waters, by the way Sal...we are getting quite a bit of pollution on here since we got promotion!! Just think about OldStokie in the trenches during Two World Wars..saving us from Hitler..not once but twice...hold that thought next time you smite a Great War Hero frazier.. God Save OldStokie...the best fish in the river!!

It is not widely known, and Old Stokie will probably smite me for revealing this, but his wartime exploits were in fact the inspiration for the comic book character, Captain Hurricane.

It's also a little known fact that the comic character 'Jack Black' and his dog silver, out of 'Viz', was based on OldStokies war-time exploits..and bears a striking resemblance to OldStokie used to look in the 1930's ;D

"we are getting quite a bit of pollution on here since we got promotion!! " I can't complain about the newly aquired pollution WD, i'm just as bad as some of 'em ;D and Old Smokey will be getting only my finest karma from now on. Unless he Disses Mrs T again

Pi$$ off you lot. If you really want to know what I smell of, it's stale urine. My slippers are so stiff with the dried up stuff, they're like Dutch clogs. frazier...it was you, you bastard! Typical Thatcherite smiting the working classes. Now leave me alone. I'm having a mid-season break away from all the bullshit on here. I'll be back when we're bottom of the league with a few 'told-you-so' smarmy comments on our illustrious [not] manager. Oh, I almost forgot, I might pop in from time to time to have a go at that liar, MoeMoe, for calling me a liar. I was deeply hurt by his comments. OS.

Dave, I'm afraid you're past redemption. However have you got to that figure? You're a nice enough guy in the flesh. Perhaps Legends don't come across very well on messageboards. Seriously, I've checked and some of the best posters are way up the -karma rating. I mean, even the great Joe in Oz has summat daft like -50 and there was once a concerted effort by many to bring Musik back to + because he had been smited so many times! Who on earth would want to smite Music! Although I used to when this board first started, I never give out negative karma now. I got to thinking it represented the actions of a skoolkid, throwing stones from behind a wall where you can't see them. I'm off now, I need to look after mar mate, Daftbugger. OS.

Leave my Karma alone. I worked hard to get it down. Just look at those with positive karma do you really want to be associated with them! (esxcept for sal (swoon) This years negative karma is last years positive karma. Pulis Out! *I mean look at wizzard's!
