Routledge and Whelan certainly. Not sure if we would need Quashie if we had Whelan and Diao. I don't want to keep Wright to be honest but, obviously we need to keep Pugh and Cort (permanently) and Shawcross (loan extended or permanent) . If Phillips doesn't convince TP soon then we definately need a left winger as Pugh is too useful at left back and Cressie deserves a chance as a striker.

would love any ONE of them
being perfectly honest they are all players who will only take us in one direction, up
not sure about quashie though,i think he may have lost a yard...
whelan would be perfect
whaley would be great on the left cutting in side for shot
routledge likewise

I think we should go for Stuart Fleetwood from Forest Green. Hes scored 25 goals in 25 games this season. I reckon we'd get him for about 300k. Be a useful addition to the squad and goalscorers dont come cheap. I think hes only about 21 as well.

Any prospect of signing lower league players has effectively disappeared following Scholes comments last week - prick (Scholes that is).
No.1 transfer target for me is Shawcross, he'll go for a fortune one day

I know the defence held up against Watford, but I can't help but think that TP will add another couple of defenders to the squad. Taylor from Portsmouth?and obviously Shawcross ... please! Whelan ... not so sure about him ??? Possibly a striker, especially if Mama does go walk about in Ghana in the new year. I wonder if TP can persuade Harry Redknapp to let us have Nugent for 5 months. He's not Premier standard, but useful in our league. Steve

Still think we need another striker. We have Ric, Cress (if he plays up front) and Mama (who isn't firing) who are nailed on first team regulars. If we have to rely on Parkin's fitness for any length of time or (shudder) have to call on Pericard we are pretty fucked.

tie up the pugh and cort deals, get shawcross till at least the end of the season.
And bring in some flair on the wing, routledge would be good, and some central midfield creativity, whelan or quashie would be ace.
Get these players in, and play-off's is a real likeliness and we can't be ruled out of 2nd place in my opinion.

I agree with Jamo...A striker should be numero uno priority. If Fuller gets an injury then we will really struggle.I know we have a decent scoring record so far, but there's nothing like the added security of someone who can score goals as opposed to Sidibe,Pericard, and Parkin who can't.!
