Ruddy could do a job as a keeper for us. Approach Fulham too and ask about Stansfield. Every cloud and all that ๐

Relegated with 50 points. Scary stuff Yeah, we'd have gone down if we'd have lost the last two. So would've Watford, Sunderland, QPR, Blackburn, Sheffield Wednesday, Plymouth....

I think their point is that after Plymouth, we thought that was it. Even with two losses, weโd have been fine. Well it turns out that wasnโt quite true. Weโd have been relegated if weโd downed tools.

Just looking at the other championship club forums itโs seems that Birminghamโs relegation is a cause of national celebration. What a club! Would be the same for us in fairness, donโt think we are particularly liked in the Championship

With the points tally that Birmingham and Huddersfield hauled this year, they'd have both stayed up last year. Birmingham getting relegated with 50 points is absolutely insane. In 2021/22, 38 points (and a better goal difference than -44) would've been enough to stay up. 12 points less than what Birmingham got this year. Incredibly harsh. Big testament to the strength of the league this tbf lots of very competitive teams

Despite Forest getting docked points last years promoted sides have all taken a bath.

You never know, of course, but none of them have squads like Leicester or Leeds. Another year of competitive ridiculousness in the Championship next season. Looking at the table this evening, we finished level with Watford and Sunderland and even only 8 points off Coventry, who have been positively jizzed over. Win 4 more games next season and weโre right in there, thatโs how tight it is. Iโll be drinking to that tonight, with a tinge of sadness that another season is over with. They seem to get shorter and shorter!

No reason why we can't get in the mix IMHO.

I remember reading the PNE forum and a supposed respected itk on there reckoned he'd turned down a contract worth circa 15k a week there, in favour of a much more lucrative deal with us.

Well it will come down to money if that's correct then we will have to assist which isn't good Could see him at Birmingham, Rotherham, Huddersfield, Barnsley pretty easily

Bar Leicester at times, perhaps Ipswich, there has not been a stand out team, with lots of meh from playoffs to relegation A consistently 7/10 team could easily be top size, whereas a consistently 5/10 is in the bottom 6 Really hope Schumacher is in the first category next season

Amazing to think they were in the play offs in 5th place when they sacked Eustace to bring in Rooney in October.
So very happy to see them gone tbh.

I asked a Birmingham City fan flying out to the World Cup who they hate more than anyone. He replied Stoke. Without hesitation ! And why did they invade the pitch at full time today ! Oh yes. Cos there a bunch of horrible cnuts.
