Our badge is properly shit though Posted 7 hours ago 8 hours ago, 22A said: Yes they have. Five successive home losses to what must be the most mundane, beige club in the entire division. Incredible run of results really, and we’ve won 4/6 at Ashton Gate during the same period. Says the club with the most mundane, beige football badge in the football league.

Bristol are on a run of really good form and have recent history on their side. If we want to win, we play our best side of now, not worrying about next season, or contract politics, or resting players, or anything else.

Try and win 3 on the trot, when was the last time that happened? October, Sunderland Leeds & boro, although that was followed by 0 wins in 9.

Same team. The way to prove that achieving survival is nothing to shout about is to go out and take this match as seriously as Plymouth and Southampton and get a convincing win. Any slackening and indication that the players think the season is over will not bode well for next season.

Keep it the same and perhaps bring on some of the younger one's such as Sidibe if we're comfortable in the 2nd half. It would be nice to keep the momentum going with another win and I think that is a priority over changing the side too much.

Yep, remembering looking at the final fixture a few months back when I was convinced we'd need something in the final game to have a chance of staying up. Didn't seem so bad back then, but my god I'm glad we sowed things up last weekend as they are top of the form table in the last 6 games (won 3 drawn 3) so coming into this with confidence even if nothing to really play for. To be fair we are only 3 points back and 10th in the form table over the last six games. However nice to not really give a flying f*ck what happens and hoping we give it a real good go....

Hilarious all those triggered Bristol fans. That comment about them being beige has really hit home hard.
Shame.

OK we are safe and need to get serious about a top 10 finish next season. Let’s play all our youngsters (and no loanees) against Bristol and give them a virtually full 90 minutes’ experience and see what they’ve got. Let’s get a feel for our actual home grown potential like Lowe and introduce them to a crowd who should be in good spirits.
Plus a few regulars who are still under contract and likely starters next season.
We can’t keep hoping the loan market will get us promoted. It’s barely got us top half so far.
Can always bring on players who are likely leaving for the last 5 minutes to get a thank you.

Winning the game should be a priority considering the mood around club/home form etc. Lowe, sidibe and junior should all get half an hour or more though

Play the best team, win the game, build positivity. Seen this been said a few times. We’ve ended the season well a few times recently and it doesn’t mean shit. MoN did it. Hughes famously saved his job with a last game of the season win and it just bought fucking misery. It’s bollocks isn’t it?

Sidibe looks a reasonably good little player so maybe he could play instead of Cundle. Who else? Lowe possibly?

We could win 3 on the trot. I repeat, we could win 3 on the trot.
Unchanged team but I would like to see Sol get some decent time on the pitch

Jesus Well no but this premise that a good end to the season has an impact on next season is just bollocks isn’t it? your probably right, but our fans that go to the games deserve to see a win. 3 wins on the bounce won’t hurt will it, good for season ticket sales, fan experience, confidence, belief and a connection between players/ fans going into next season

People seem hideously giddy given we’re on the verge of our worst season in 20 years and only won 3 home games under the new manager. A dose of where we’re really at and the changes that are actually needed is far more needed now we don’t need the points. I can only think of 3 players that should be starting on Saturday that should be regulars next season. Which gives the game even less meaning. Of course I don’t actually want us to lose but the whole thing about winning it having any meaning on next season bar it just meaning we keep some players that have shown they’re not good enough is absolute horseshit.

Only Bae, Burger and Manhoef should be turning out regularly next season of the players that will play. So it won’t or shouldn’t help any of that really.

Agree with Bayern. Already had a positive end of the season. Come August, I won’t remember if we beat Bristol City or not. Would rather the kiddies have a good go at it and get beat 5 nowt. Or maybe they could actually get something from it?

Him and Burger could be excellent together and this will give us an early chance to see that. That’s meaningful for next season.

Goal should be to win every game, especially home games and especially given that our home form has been atrocious.
Sidibe should start. Jojic, Lowe and Junior should get minutes. If there’s 1-2 youngsters that are in the u21s that we believe could make it, they should be introduced to the crowd for a run about in the last 5 mins.

We should go balls out to win this one. Whatever it takes.
