When teams have a great escape like Sheffield Wed have had they can often do very well the season after.

When teams have a great escape like Sheffield Wed have had they can often do very well the season after. I think you have forgotten the "Mighty Potters"! 33 points from the last 18 games to avoid relegation on the last day of the season in 1983/84. 1984/85. Well. We all know what happened.

i just hope that the Baggies get battered in the play offs then a disappointing season will have not been to bad, baggies hammered and Vale relegated

Sheffield Wednesday under their new manager are actually just really quite good aren’t they? They will be a big threat next season if they stay up, which it looks like they will.

While Norwich’s play off spot is guarantted, theyll still want a result next week to guarantee 5th. Better to be playing Southampton than potentially Leeds

Not so sure the way they play only works if they are full tilt If they can add some quality then yes they should be better off

As long as they have Bannon, they have a chance. Among the best players in the Championship.

Definitely sensibly reverted to the direct 100mph style that got them promoted and got them motivated got to be impressed

I think he’d be tempted to go there in the summer.

They came under siege at Hillsborough and caved in, whereas we stood firm, rode out the storm and got a point. The way Sheffield Wednesday are playing at the moment at home they can beat anyone in the league. Our game against them was definitely a point gained in hindsight. My thoughts exactly. Considering Wednesday's recent form I think we did really well there.

In hindsight I think I underestimated them. They smothered us and in the end it was definitely a point gained.

They smothered us and in the end it was definitely a point gained. I remember after the game thinking it was a dour pragmatic point gained. I thought if we'd been open and attacking they might've scored a few, and us probably missed a few, and we lose. That was me trying put a positive spin on it after the game though, cos like you, I was disappointed during the game, I wanted us to be more attacking. The way it's panned out since though, that positive spin seems more positive definitely.
