His injury did for him, poor sod.
The telling moment was when he was put through and caught with ease.
He's got to do a Sheringham to survive; completely change his game.

Just enjoy his performance ffs Take a bow son you led the line immaculately I have to say a win does cloud individual performances. If you watch him he’s incredibly lazy in mind and body. Half arsed at closing down and slow in the brain when moving off the ball. Makes runs two or three seconds after he should. Looks unfit and overweight as well. World beater compared to Ennis though.

He just comes across as a sulky billy-big-bollocks type to me. It was great to see him so aggressive in his play and happy / celebratory after. If he could show that and connect with fans he’d be massively popular, but I think he’s burnt his bridges. The eternal nearly man for me. He’s the polar opposite to what you’ve described as a lad. He’s not in the least bit sulky or billy big bollocks. He’s a nice lad who goes out of his way to make sure everyone is happy and settled in the group. That’s really good to know, not at all the impression I get.

He played well yesterday and I’m delighted he got cheered off for the right reasons. I don’t get this sulky big bollocks thing. He comes across as a really decent lad. However the time is right for a parting of the ways. He needs a fresh start. I fear he won’t realise his potential. He can obviously finish but for me lacks a killer instinct. Take the run from McNally first half yesterday. Great run and to be fair he’s not the quickest but Tyrese did not show the desire to get on the end of a cracking ball which for a striker should have been a tap in. I hope he does well but it’s time to move on

I’ve been his biggest critic(rightly so in my opinion) but today he was definitely more up for it and led the line well.He even threw his arms up in frustration when he realised it was him coming off but soon accepted it and shook everybody’s hand including Bobby Madley and everyone on our bench As he was coming off he was saying to Schumacher ‘I’m fine’ I think it was precautionary as he was holding his groin not moving totally freely after that trip.

Precisely, all this 'sulky' stuff is a complete fabrication and really annoying. Today wasn't out of the ordinary for me, he's always fairly animated in any celebrations when we win, it's just that there hasn't been many wins to celebrate. He's obviously popular with other players and staff. I’ve often wondered if giving him the captains armband would bring something out of Tye that he doesn’t even know himself he has. I’ll be sad to see him leave but I’ve been a bit of a lone voice in any attempt to defend him from the flak he’s often received. Under the right manager in the right team there’s definitely something there. I feel his injury has taken the edge off his really explosive pace and he just doesn’t fully trust it. If we could agree sensible terms I wouldn’t be against keeping him, at worst his versatility is useful and he always seems a big part of the social core of the team (and with past players too, Tymon, Souttar, verlinden et al). Fletcher type Original MON Campbell Bae Manhoef Is some serious firepower in this league with pace, power & creativity.

I don’t think he ever had explosive pace. He just needs to play alongside a target man. He’s played his best football for Stoke alongside Fletcher. If we had someone like him, and played Campbell to his right, I think we would see the same type of output as we saw pre injury.

A little sad he never became the player some thought he might. He was once worth £30-50 million when there was noise around him interesting the Toon, according to the experts on here. Just watch him score against us when he's playing for Derby next season.

A voice of reason compared to a thread with people speculating about a player’s character, career plans and much more based largely on hearsay. He has played all across the front three and in a 2 and come back from a career threatening injury, which took 18 months or more to recover fully from. Not sure we could expect more. He doesn’t look good when we lump it up to his head but get it to feet and hit it early for his runs, he makes so many other players don’t see, and he is a threat every time. The second goal yesterday with the link between him, Million and Bae shows what potential we have if we add Maaee in. The reality is we couldn’t afford to buy him, so why would we let him go?

You know it’s a miserable season when people are raving about a guy who’s scored 2 goals all season as a striker. Who has a goals per minute ratio of 562, in other words a goal every 6.2 games.
Clinical.
I also agree he doesn’t get used properly but he’s still awful and we need significant improvement.

Same old story we Need better with no thought as to how , ( see Ennis ) he has a very good season in him , hes a good charachter around the place and we have a bard load of change coming anyway and no pother decent forwards its madness not to at least try and keep him and with SJW in charge id be surprised of we don’t unless they have a super surprise in mind but with vidigal and Mmaee likely to go too and Wesley for sure , baby and bath water spring to mind
